IT BRINGS BOTH THE Count & Countess of Salia great joy to announce the births of twin boys. The eldest son is to be named as the Heir Apparent of Salia, and he and his brother shall be named as followed:

 

ACHILLIUS II ARTEMISIO D’ARKENT

ALEKSANDR KONSTANTIN D’ARKENT

 

EACH BOY’S NAME CARRIES deep meaning in their kin. Achillius was named firstly after his father, and secondly after his mother. Aleksandr’s name too carries much familial meaning, with his first being the name of both of his mother’s grandfathers, ALEKSANDR KORTREVICH and King ALEKSANDR II of Haense, as well as his father’s cousin, the King ALEXANDER II of Balian, and his middle name coming from KONSTANTIN VON AUGUSTEN, his mother’s cousin and the one who introduced the Count and Countess.

 

DUE TO THE TUMULTUOUS labor of the Countess, she has opted to remain out of the public eye while she recovers. We pray for her swift recovery and the futures of the babes, who are to be baptized privately within Balian.

Xiomara I heard of her godmothers news - and would have a gift sent henceforth! She prayed for the health and prosperity of the boys and Esfir alike, and hoped she'd be well enough to visit soon. Xiomara had questions, ones she couldn't just ask her Uncle! Like, how do you know when someone is a spinster? And questions like how to choose your favorite dress!
