About this conflict...

So, anyone who is at least somewhat active in LOTC knows, what is going on. And i wanna stay neutral here as a player. You see, some of us have busy lifes; They probably have school, irl family, work, whatever. However, i fear that ig characters start to blame their (ig)relatives, friends, children for being coward or traitor just because char's player can't join due the scheduling or whatever reason. Probably they start to throw something like: "Why you weren't in there fighting for your country, coward?" or "Your father died. He probably would be alive if you were there defending him"

I know that i might sound paranoid but still. Please, respect choices of players who can't be part of their conflicts.

If they do something similar. Then, it isn't worth your time to be in that community and they are probably assholes lmao

Yeah, do your homework. Anybody trying to shame you for that through RP has totally lost themselves through the escapism rabbit-hole. IRP you can just say something to the effect of that you were in a discrete forward scouting party, but really you should probably begin finding a more sane community to ingratiate yourself into. i've had ppl be telling me off for it because it doesn't quiteeeee help me as someone gettin' invaded WHOOPS but ive been highly encouraging ppl to not get involved whatsoever with war stuff on lotc if they don't like it, let alone with if they're just busy. If someone's rude about encouraging you to join to the point of it being pressuring/coercing you gotta put em in the bin. in the BIN.

solution is disregard your absence and act like you were there nobody knows the name of fleeper #12034 nor will they care. if they do care they're weird metaplayers for criticizing your character for being absent in a mechanical solution to an in roleplay conflict

If there are folks coercing/forcing you to logon for a warclaim with IRP threats because you’re taking care of stuff IRL (school, family, etc.), that is NOT a community you want to be apart of and you might want to consider looking at other communities that are more tolerant towards people that need to focus on IRL. There is absolutely NO REASON for you to put roleplay over IRL.
If people are demanding you to get on, tell them you’re busy with IRL and if they can’t wrap their heads around that, maybe that’s not the community for you.
