TO BSK HIGH COMMAND

 

This report contains details of the Skirmish at Camp Tatiyana on 10th Gronna and Droba, 552. E.S. or 3rd Skirmish or Skirmish of Theo’s Fall.

 

Cardinal Ivan had arrived at Morteksvan, which was hosting a large revelry, alerting the people regarding a group of xionist darkspawn at camp Tatiyana which was being occupied by Templar Theo.

 

The BSK Combat Party:

• Sigmar Var Ruthern
• Magnus Rauthrdag
• Cardinal Ivan
• Theo
• Ivar Colborn
• Dima Kovachev
• Sigismund Arazi
• Lady Shibuya

 

The Xionist Combat Party:

• 2 Necromancers
• 2 Warlocks
• 6 Sapient Minions
• 3 Summoned Minions
• 3 Infernal Minions

 

Sigismund Arazi and Lady Shibuya were in the back ranks harassing the casters and the flesh golem.

 

The rest were engaged in direct conflict with the minions. Despite the significant outnumbering, the BSK soldiers were holding their own, however malflame attacks and the flying infernal minions were causing great damage, causing the BSK to falter.

 

Templar Theo activated a spell which caused his body to burn and double his strength, allowing us to swiftly end the battle as he tore through the xionists like paper.

 

At the end of the conflict, only Theo perished in a valiant sacrifice due to his magic. BSK members suffered intense injuries. The enemy was destroyed save for one fleeing warlock.

 

The author of this report, in their opinion, concludes that in future conflicts the mindless and summoned minions need to be disposed of first. This is especially the case with imps as they can also conjure malfame.

 

Another tactic would be to have a mobile unit to harass casters in the back to prevent them from using their foul magic.

Wrotek read the report with his brow furrowed in worry. The Forgemaster set down the letter, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "The sacrfice of this templar is costly. We need as many as we can get for this coming tide of darkness."

His gaze shifted back to the anvil, were a couple steel bars were cooling off. He tapped them with his hammer and hoisted them back into the furnace to melt. As long as the enemy continued their wicked work, so would he carry on doing his.
