Explanation

 

I believe Halfirate metagamed my character. She's a Naztherak and when Naith looked her over, she noticed the tattoos on her hands and was quick to believe that she was in fact a Naz. Initially my character was locked away in a jail cell because her buddies thought that she was cursed. In reality it was Stockholm Syndrome, but they didn't know that. I understand that there could be chance of assumption given what led up to the moment, the believe of a supposed curse; but the notice of her palm tattoos and immediately looking 'over at Athri with a grim expression' just doesn't sit right with me. Especially when in the lore page it mentions that looking at those tattoos and assuming that they are Naztherak tattoos is metagaming.

Hi everyone, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I don’t actually know where this is coming from, or why WizardWhisper is forum-reporting me on a one-off interaction over a month old where my character made a ‘grim expression’ while in the vicinity of their character. OOCly, we’ve never spoken a word about this being an unfair interaction. Also OOCly, I wasn’t super aware that this character was a Naz, either. I am now, though! 

 

In a world where some tattoos equate to taboo things, I don’t think it’s particularly unreasonable for a character that has been exposed to these things to exhibit some mild paranoia. As far as I can recall, the culmination of this scene was WizardWhisper’s character getting the shamanic cleansing done, and then being sent home with a few weird looks for being a little crazy.
