Friends and strangers alike:

 

Through the span of mine own life, I have_- met two kinds of men: those who₅ art destined to lead and those who₃ yield themselves to the guidance of another. Yet, verily, the truest wisdom lies not solely in the hand₅ that commandeth, but in the heart of he who, with prudence and humility, chooseth a leader worthy of his fealty—a leader who guideth with justice, heareth with compassion, and uniteth with purpose.

 

When the hour cometh, and I have stood afore thee—when I have clasped thy hands and embraced thee as a father doth his kin—thou shalt see, shining in mine own eyes, the glimmer of a future most radiant, beckoning us all. I carry with me the burden of the past, yet from that weight springs clarity. Anchored 'twixt the steadfast depths of the earth and the boundless firmament of the heavens, I do declare that the cornerstone of this dream—this noble endeavor—shall soon be made manifest as a monument to our shared resolve₁.

 

This vision is no mere fancy of mine own, but a sacred bond, woven₅ from the threads of our common hope and sealed by the holy principle of coexistence. It doth seek to kindle the fire of hope within thy hearts, a flame that illumineth the way to a tomorrow most resplendent.

 

If thou art content with the world as it is, if the comforts of thy life dost suffice thee, then let these words pass thee by. But if thou dost₄ see the fractures in the foundation and feel the yearning for₀ a better dawn, I do entreat thee: hear the original message. Together, as one folk, as one vision, as one brotherhood—we shall rise.
