Kholibrii 1211 Share Posted February 17, 2025 In the last fortnight, the mayoral office has received a flurry of reports in regards to an influx of rats within Elizabeth. We assure the public that such reports are being taken seriously and that this office is investigating the source of these vile creatures. Until such a source can be determined, the mayoral office shall take other avenues to combat the infestation. The Rat-Catchers Given the state of the infestation, the Lady Mayor sees it fit to establish a team of rat-catchers, tasked with quelling the rodent population. Any willing member of the citizenry may work as a rat-catcher and report their efforts to the Lady Mayor directly. Rat-catchers will receive compensation of 3 minas per rat delivered to the Lady Mayor. Spoiler Rat heads will be placed throughout Elizabeth each night and people will have 24 hours to find and return them to the Lady Mayor, Luciana Halcourt(IGN: Kholibrii) for 3 minas per head. An announcement will be made in the Alba discord after heads are placed each day. https://discord.com/invite/vupNKGfyYe SIGNED, THE HONORABLE, Luciana Marie Halcourt, Lady Mayor of Elizabeth
Security_ 2287 Share Posted February 17, 2025 “Vile creatures? Rats are noble, loyal companions!” Remarks a Wick as he swept the street of Broomtown, kicking up a few of the vermin along the way. “We’ll gladly take them off the cities’ hands.” Perhaps the culling of rats wasn’t quite so effective this year…
rep2k 3192 Share Posted February 17, 2025 Looking horrified through the small window of the Abbey of St. Catherine, Father Witmar scoffs merely before closing it for the rest of the day. ”Nuh-uh, you won’t get me TODAY!”
ibiou 2397 Share Posted February 17, 2025 The Baroness of Corwinsburg, Octavia, dropped to her knees at the news. "NOT MY BOOKSHELVES!!! STAY AWAY FROM MY BOOKSHELVES!!!" She screeched, shooing away any threat with a broom. Her keen eye would be looking out for the rats, or their droppings amidst the bookshelves.
DancingZebra267 1626 Share Posted February 17, 2025 Vincenzo would read the missive, scratching his head. "Have they thought about investing in getting some cats? Problem solved."
