THUS UNTO THE WEALD,

FROM THE PROCLAMATION OF THIS MISSIVE, the Parliament of the Ravenstates, and subsequently, the existence of Dumacracy, is hereby dissolved; its authority and place in Ravenmirian society is forfeit, and due diligence is given to the service it has provided to our society, and our people, throughout the years of Ravenmire’s existence. Though an integral part of our way of life, it is a fact of life that things come to an end; and from the words of our Regent and Heir; [...] to be something’s defender, is to allow it to rest when the time is right.

Furthermore, the title of Defender of Dumacracy is henceforth retired in perpetua.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT; IS THE FORMATION OF A COUNCIL, ADVISORY TO THE GRAND PRINCE AND THE REGENT.

This council will feature names already known to Ravenmirian society, of both citizens and members of the former Parliament, and have been picked by the Regent, Prince Owyn Rostova, to advise him. There are, as of the publication of this missive, three positions vacant in the Council, and the Crown will be seeking to fill these positions. Any and all interest may forward their letters to the new Lord Chancellor, Ser Peter Rovare, or to His Highness, Owyn Rostova.

THE COUNCIL OF THE RAVENSTATES:

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Chancellor, Peter Rovare.

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Justice, Miguel Rostova.

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Treasurer, Antônio de Alencar.

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Captain of the Army, [vacant].

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Shipwright, [vacant].

✠ HIS EXCELLENCY, the Lord Physician, [vacant].

Individuals interested in the positions of Lord Shipwright and Lord Physician are to contact the aforementioned authorities. The position of Lord Captain of the Army shall be decided by the Regent, in conjunction with his Council, to pick the best fit candidate for command over the levy of Ravenmire.

Such is the will of the Grand Prince.

Seated at his desk in Castle Oakenwald, The Lord Chancellor, Count Peter Rovare, reads over the missive contemplating what had been changed with a vote and a stroke of a pen, before looking down over the Countess's gardens, where his daughter sat drinking tea with her companions, and then to the Courtyard, where his sons played at being knights with wooden swords. "So long as they shall have a good future, any sacrifice is worth making" he says idly, ignoring the questioning looks from his secretary and the Captain of the Guard.
