What circumstances led to this ban?

 

While I was using a whisper chat feature to determine how to use a chat feature, I typed in a homophobic slur for my own community as a test. This was a mistake and I understand not to use the word again. As a trans and queer person, my community members and I IRL often use these words in an attempt to reclaim them. I forgot how that may be different in this space. I did not intend to offend anyone.

 

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

 

I do not disagree with the ban because I understand that without knowing my identity or the experience of another, I could seriously hurt someone.

 

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

 

I would like to continue roleplay and bring queer perspective and characters to game. I sincerely apologize.
