PART I – INTRODUCTION;

And who am I?

I am sure most gazed upon my candidacy with a hint of confusion – “Who is this??” you might have wondered, and here I am, telling you exactly that.

I was born in Ailmere to a humble family of Scyflings, who were eventually pushed away by the home they had found upon the coast. We made a living of fishing, and so I, too, helped with the nets since a very young age. Eventually, the entire tribe moved to Haense, guided by my brother Magnus, and we reunited with the other Scyflings. Not much later, though, I left in order to study society in Ravenmire (note: at the time, Ravenmire was the heart of the Kingdom, and now-Emperor Tiberias was still in exile). I would return back to Haense a couple of years later, only to grow more and more restless. I had little to no friends there, only an outsider who would eventually vanish.  I knew that I yearned for something greater, that my life cannot be sitting around doing nothing. And so I found refugee in Norland, which eventually turned into a sort of self exile. I served under the command of High Priest Callahan, riding to war along with the allied forces. As the war came to a close, I found Norland no longer fitting for my lifestyle, and after roaming with my fiance we decided to settle in Alba.

Some more details about me;

  • I love knowledge and possess a vast collection of notes and books.
  • My best friend is Sarnai, a horse rider.
  • I am engaged to Bryden Baruch
  • Other notable friends are Delbert, Istvan Ivanovich and Jan Sarkozic.
  • I had a pet camel named Bobby, but gave him to Sarnai.
  • I love society and its study, finding Man’s behavior very interesting.

PART II – MY PLANS;

Transparency,  economy and protection.

When I decided to run for Mayor of Elizabeth, the first thing I did was meet with the people who live in the city. It became clear to me that this important role, that of Mayor, has been for long misunderstood. The Mayor should lead the citizens, be their voice. A Citizen has only so much power, only so much ability to change their life. It should be up to their elected officials to protect the people they serve, and ensure they thrive in the city.

  1. ELIZABETH FIRST; In speaking with citizens, it has become apparent that a multitude of problems are present with the way citizens are treated. My goal is to return the attention onto the inhabitants of the city.
  2. THE PROTECTION OF ELIZABETH; While serving in the Prince’s army, I have realized that the citizens are not protected enough. Should I be elected, I will be in contact with the army to establish a strict line of patrols.
  3.  NO MORE MERCY FOR DEMONS; On the same string of thought, the Citizens told me that they have had enough of demons, be it cat-person or horned freak. Should I be elected, I will establish contact with the Church to put a stop to this invasion.
  4.  THE ELIZABETHAN WELFARE; Establishing a business within Elizabeth is one challenging task. The stalls are all claimed, and something must be done. New businesses will be granted aid in mina to ensure they may flourish and remain stable.
  5. FOOD FOR ALL;  Every city has free bundles of food, which should be refilled appropriately. I shall take it upon myself to keep food stocked, so even the less fortunate may satisfy their hunger.

These are only some of my ideas, with more to come under the guidance of my council. None should remain shadowed.

PART III – CLOSING STATEMENT;

Fight for freedom.

No matter who you vote for, I duly encourage you to go out and do so. I understand that time is short when farming and working and sewing, yet this is your chance at molding your own future. Do not complain when your life remains miserable if you decided not to take your destiny upon your hands.

Any and all questions may be posed through mail, or you can stop me in the city. I will gladly hear any and all electors.

And remember, a vote for Sigrid is a vote for clarity, transparency and prosperity. Let not a single citizen of our beautiful city fall under the shadow of forgetness.
