I T N E RA R Y

 

I. The Sacred Rite of Baptismal Renewal
Time: 5pm est
Location: Cathedral of St. Raguel, Alba
Attendance: By private invitation only
A solemn rite of spiritual renewal, wherein Lady Adelaide shall receive the blessing of the Church as she steps into her station as a grown daughter of Halcourt. Clergy and close kin only.

 

II. The Banquet of First Light

Time:6pm est
Location: Chateau de Murviel (Halcourt Manor)
A grand feast held in celebration of Lady Adelaide’s and Lord Henri’s coming of age. Lord Henri shall present his Taxidermy and Guests shall be served in seasonal courses, with music, provided by the court’s most esteemed talents. During the revelry, tokens and tributes may be offered to the young lord and lady in honour of their future roles.

From within a tucked-away parlor, a lady wordlessly studied the missive within reach of her rosy tinted fingertips, ongoing needlework cloaking her lap in a mélange of damask fabric ensnared by wounded thread. She set the parchment aside, and resumed her work, her thoughts spilling delicately above the crackle of a nearby hearthfire, "I will be sure to recommend my wisdom on Adelaide in her coming-of-youth. There are many things a young lady does not understand, that she will come to suffer by experience if not given the guidance to maneuver with grace." As she spoke, she envisioned each puncture of the needle through thread to be a memory, and the memories coiled until a scene formed that was her life. . . and she set that work aside, and went out for a calming walk along the battlements.
