NOTICE FROM THE

Issued by the Ivory Crown and Grace of the High Prince,

17th of the Grand Harvest, 242 S.A.

ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴇɴɪᴢᴇɴs ᴏғ ᴄᴀᴜʀósᴛ,

The expulsion of dark forces, bogeymen, and shadow-lurking monsters is vital to the Caurósian mission in preserving the dignity of Elvendom. On this day, 17th of The Grand Harvest, 242 S.A., the vigilance of our stalwart hunters has uncovered a more grievous revelation. Within the walls of our Princedom, there dwelled an accomplice of the dark who not only shared company with the demonic, but collaborated a covert assassination plot against an Imperial politician.

Thus, the Ivory Crown hereby decrees the following:

I. Henceforth, the Maehr known as ɴᴇɪᴀ is sentenced to exile, effective immediately.

II. Henceforth, the Maehr known as ɴᴇɪᴀ is to be ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ ᴏɴ sɪɢʜᴛ, effective immediately.

III. Henceforth, all known accomplices and collaborators are to be apprehended and reported to the High Prince, where they shall be tried for their transgressions under the watchful eye of Ivory Law.

Individuals in possession of information or knowledge surrounding her status are to report to the Praeven’tir.

Signed,

The Ivory Crown

A wayward, one-armed Marauder lifted the missive unto his single eye. A visible huff was let out, despite it being warm in his localization.

"Demons, Neia?"

"Really?"

"A shame," Remarked the librarian, her scarred digits used to flick such a missive into the flame. Brows contorting in dismay at even the thought of her friend in such trouble.

“And what do we have here..” He voiced, rather theatrically, despite lack of audience to share a laugh. A pair of digits absentmindedly stroked at his chin in deep thought, eyes fixed onto the paper. No anger, nor worry influenced him; instead, it was pity. Though that wouldn't stop the unnecessary pull of his lips—pity brewed with displease, perhaps.  “Seems the admiration of Luara was more so devotion to Azul!

“Typical!”

Aytheln caught word of the missive, taking his usual spot in the tavern to read it over. A smile crept up on his features, nodding a few times. "I knew it. Something had changed within you, Neia. A shame, but not unexpected. It is what you get for helping criminals enter the city. It is what you get for betraying the values you once were drawn to Cauróst for." He folded a copy of the decree into his book of banishments, and set out for the city proper.

Later that day he found himself accompanied by his fellow Praeven'tir, shoving the decree in one specific soldier's face. "I was being paranoid and overthinking things right, Mahtë? I recommend you think twice before accusing me of such again."

Guinheyvar blinked rapidly against the sting of the smoke of the torches and the glint of the swords hung along the lintels of the watchtower, tips pointed down like teeth in terrible jaws. Now, looking at the missive, she wondered for Neia's doom.
