The Grizh’Guard

THE HORDE KNOWS PEACE.

Despite centuries of uncertainty, war amongst descendant-kind, and the instability of the Urukim, we now find ourselves in an era of peace that has allowed us to rebuild from the ashes. Now we must work to maintain our hard-fought peace by strengthening the security of those in our government.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GRIZH-GUARD

The Rex is one of the most integral positions within the Horde of Many Tribes. Thus, it is the prerogative of the inner circle to ensure the continued protection of our head of government. Per the authority of the sitting Rex, the Grizh’Guard is hereby established with the following responsibilities:

  • The protection of the sitting Rex and Hordespeaker of the Horde of Many Tribes.

  • The willingness to die in the line of duty for the protection of the Rex or Hordespeaker of the Horde.

  • Carrying out the direct orders of the sitting Rex of the Horde of Many Tribes and no others.

  • To partake in quests to sharpen themselves and ensure the protection of the Horde.

  • The training of the Krughai.

  • The authority to issue orders to the Krughai and citizens of the Horde as the mouth of the Rex.

  • The training of future members of the Grizh-Guard

  • To distinguish themselves among the Urukim by donning blood-red armor when on-duty.

CHOOSING OF THE GRIZH-GUARD

Members of the Grizh-Guard shall be chosen by proving themselves as the strongest among their competitors in a tournament-style competition [pvp]. As of the establishment of the Grizh-Guard, it shall only have room for three members, to be known as “Grizh-Keshig”, to be expanded per the Rex’s decree. Furthermore, the Grizh-Guard may only consist of Urukim such as Uruks, Goblins, or Ologs who are proven citizens of the Horde.

Should an existing Grizh-Keshig be challenged by an Urukim of the Horde of Many Tribes, they are required to accept the challenge and face their challenger in one-on-one combat [pvp]. The winner shall take or maintain the position, while the loser will be barred from challenging for the position for a period of ten years [10 weeks].

Should an existing Grizh-Keshig become inactive or disappear for a period longer than five years [5 weeks], the Rex reserves the right to officially remove them from their position and hold tryouts for the position to be filled. The removed Urukim may not re-try for the position for a period of five years [5 weeks].
