The stars have guided the citizens of Maracá for centuries as they sailed through island to island, for their commerce, fishing business, giving the night sky some light for the Maracá people. Songs, alongside literature and festivals have been made to celebrate this creation of nature, so important and significant to these people. 

 

With this, Ulisses de Alencar invites everyone to come celebrate this important phenomenon in a masquerade ball, where we shall dance, drink and celebrate the cosmos that has been lighting up our night skies and our nocturnal lives. Dressing up for the occasion, with your best mask and your best attire, is a requirement. Since the stars are anonymous, the guests shall be too.
