-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have an excellent grasp of the English language as well as an extensive vocabulary.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a male college student with a passion for gaming and reading. I have a calm friendly demeanor, though I sometimes keep to myself.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Generally speaking, I can be on a few hours a day, usually later in the day. My time to play on weekends is unpredictable but usually I can be on for much longer than I can during the week. Of course, all of this is subject to change due to life's unexpected circumstances.

-How long have you played minecraft?: I have been playing Minecraft since it was in Alpha development, and I have never regretted it.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I know a great deal about roleplaying. Role playing is when you literally play a role, acting not as you would act, but as your character would act. It also means separating in-character and out-of-character information. While I have been roleplaying in the way the server expects for less than one year, I believe myself quite proficient at it. The kind of roleplay I have done is very similar to that which is expected on this server: meaning the basic medieval fantasy setting.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be an enjoyable roleplay experience similar to that of my previous server but better in many ways. Simply from reading the rules and lore I have seen that most of this is true.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play on the Kingdoms server. I have not left yet, but I am looking into this server because it appears to be almost exactly like Kingdoms but more advanced and stable. I am considering other servers because I have thought about it and the only thing keeping on Kingdoms is the community and only a few facets of it. I brought many of my friends to Kingdoms and I feel if I find this server better, they would come here as well.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have read, understood, and agreed to the rules. They are well thought out and leave little in the grey area for loophole exploitation. I found the lore to be quite engaging and look forward to pursuing some more specific queries into particular areas of it.

-Name the 4 races on this server. The four main races of the server are the Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs. Each race has it own subraces and there are other races such as the Undead and Ascended.

-How did you hear about us?: I have heard your server mentioned on a few lists of the top Minecraft servers but what got me to visit your site was a topic on the forum of another server where some players where thinking of joining you.

-Did you vote?: Yes, I have voted on all 3 links, and I feel you deserve every one of them.

-What was your favourite Law?: My favorite Law is "PVP without RP is against the rules." The PVP laws on my old RP server have been loosened as of late and this only seems to have increased the problems instead of lessening them as was the intention.

-What was your least favourite Law?: My least favorite Law does not exist, I agree whole-heartedly with all of the Laws.

-Biography: Rhino is not born of Aegis, while he seems to know much about it, a closer inspection reveals that he only knows information that does not require one to actually be born there. Rhino's earliest memories are by no means legendary, he simply remembers waking up on a beach one day alongside a book on how to survive, whether from an accident at sea or other means he does not know, nor does he dwell upon it. His time after waking up was spent simply trying to survive: whether it was from the land, from his own limits, or from those beings that would seek to do him harm. As he was only an adolescent at the time, both the solitude and the pursuit of knowledge where find to him. As time went by, he slowly learned to support himself in this untamed world, he began to devote his thoughts to other matter he had first dismissed due to the immediate need to live. He thought of many things, usually questioning the workings of the world he had now come to know, instead of merely questioning how to conquer it. But soon his thoughts turned to himself, was he truly alone? He was now on the precipice of adulthood and the thought of lifelong solitude did not sit well with him anymore. From his home he had carved into a mountain, he traveled to that same beach he had woken up on years ago. In time he built a ship, not a fine ship like some may see, but a functional ship as was his way. In this ship he traveled across the great ocean to find others, whether they be like him or not.

In his travels he met those he would come to see as friends. While some were found by themselves as he had been, others were in groups, though none numbering more than 4. They all found that they enjoyed the company of the others in the group, and eventually they all joined Rhino on his ship as they searched for any others they could find. The group eventually found what they had been looking for: a land not of wanderers, but of settlers of all types. A Kingdom. While the others stayed on the ship, which had been expanded to accommodate them all, Rhino as their unofficial leader went ashore to investigate this strange land. He spent his time in an eerily similar way to when he had first woken up, even spending one stormy night in the mud under a bridge. The knowledge he had gained making sure he did not live like that for long. He met many groups, some friendly, some not. Eventually he joined one of them and made himself a new home with its back to a mountain, and its front to a sea. Once he had shelter he retrieved his friends from the ship and they formed a small settlement.

All was well for a time, then things happened startlingly fast. Raids on their town forced them to go into hiding to stay safe, secluded towns could not hide them anymore. They hollowed out a hill within a hidden lagoon and lived there for a time, though Rhino's trips to the capitol for trade soon provided a different option. The lucky meeting of another similar to him in situation created an alliance, that alliance ended with Rhino creating a new nation and becoming its King. Alas it was not to be. While a paradise to those within it, it seems the land itself could not take the strain of all those clashing atop itself. The ground itself began to sink and fade before the eyes of the citizens. The few wizards who resided in the land called for a mass evacuation as everyone grabbed what they could and ran, looking over their shoulders as the world they knew ceased to be. Gathered at the center of the land, nation and race disregarded in the face of armageddon, the wizards banded together to cast a spell to let them go to another location the wizards had prepared in case of such an event. Sadly not all made it. Rhino was among those who survived, as were some of his friends. This new land seemed more stable, but the only thing on it was a single castle, everything else was untouched. They had to begin again.

Once again, Rhino and his friends started over, it was something they were accustomed to now. Once again much happened in a short time, much was a blur but the end result being Rhino found himself the 23 year old Captain of the Imperial Guard, his friends being some of his most trusted guardsmen. He was not Captain for his fighting prowess, he was Captain for his logical, yet empathetic mind. While others would hunt the outlaws without mercy, he patrolled around the Capitol every day, conversing with the citizens and solving disputes without violence if at all possible, something he passed on to his men. It was in this position of power Rhino first heard of Aegis, though curious he dismissed the rumors for when he had time to look into them.

Things had been tense for a time, Rhino himself having come close to death after doggedly putting down a riot out of sheer stubborn willpower. That event had angered the wizards so much that they enacted their Pacification Spell due to how many innocents were lost the the rioters. Time passed again. Rhino's guards now contained a variety of citizens of note including a golem, and many elven refugees. Unrest was seen many places, though it did not come to much anymore. Rhino stopped and thought again about Aegis. He had been thinking again, and he was not sure what was keeping him here anymore. There were enough guards now to where he did not patrol much anymore due to other duties, the outlaws had banded together but were held at bay by mercenaries and some guardsman who had volunteered to live away from the city in order to fight them. It was when he had finished his payroll for the day Rhino thought about the past, about that time when the land turned to nothingness, the time known as The Corruption.

The tension seen when one stepped outside now was similar to what was seen just before that horrid event. Rhino could only do so much, so he decided to look into this wondrous land of Aegis he had heard about. He used his position to go to the Royal Archives and found all they had on this place. As he learned he noticed similarities between Kingdom and Aegis. It was like looking at a boy next to his older self. After this realization, Rhino had one of the wizards create a portal to Aegis, understanding he would need permission from its resident powers in order to truly go there. He completed the proper rituals and now roams Aegis when he sleeps waiting to see if he and his friends may have found a better place.

-Character Appearance: Midnight black hair and olive skin, Rhino is not notable from his looks alone. He wears his cloak from his past life along with the posture one would not expect from one so young. While slightly taller than the average human he is other average in build.

-Character Personality: Rhino is a calm and empathetic person. He is polite to friends and enemies alike, though he becomes more candid when irritated. He has also proven his intelligence though few have seen all aspects of it.

-Your ambitions: Rhino's first priority is to survive, once comfortable he turns his eyes to higher things but always at a measured pace.

-Can your character read or write?: Rhino adept at both the spoken and written word.

-Can your character mine?: Rhino has basic mining skills, though his knowledge far exceeds his skill.

-Are you a capable builder? Rhino can build anything if given instruction, though if left to his own devices he will adapt to already present styles but try to be efficient about space.

-Can you wield a sword?: Rhino, while by no means a master, knows how to defend himself with whatever is at hand, preferably a blade.

-Enjoy Farming?: Rhino finds farming an enjoyable way to gather ones thoughts through the mundane activity of harvesting, and to exercise one's intelligence with planning future crops and patterns.

-Does your character have any special skills?:] Rhino does not specialize in many things, but maintains a passing familiarity with many skills one needs to survive.
