Though the passage was long and toilsome, under the careful watch of sagacious physicians, the birth was led by the dexterous guidance of Sister Solene of St. Daniel. The mother and babe now rest in good health. Her highness, howbeit with ease, acted with decorum and carried herself with grace in the whole of the long hours of the eve. The son emerged into the world with robust vitality, his cry rang clear and tumultuously spirited. Taking after his father, His Imperial Highness Maximillian Caius, the newborn prince carries the same features of viridescent eyes and darkened brown hair.
