Earoslav could be seen cheering on at the execution. All his malice toward Turtwin was more rightfully adjusted toward his lord. Yet just, because he clapped and shouted at the Guillotine, he could not help but think of the times past when he first refuged the lad in Caerfran and was introduced to him as a smallfolk by his adoptive son THORin. Truly, a Raven had passed, even if his new master was opposed to the Ravenstates.

Something stirred within a young companion of Turtwin, Ser Aviel Helfgott, and urged him to look north from where he resided. What this feeling was, was a mystery; yet it held a similar sting in his heart to something that had only happened just a few years earlier.

Learza's breath breaks into sobs. Harsh, shaking cries that echo off the marble walls that make her home.
She sinks to her knees amidst the ruin she's made of her otherwise tidy study.

Her oldest, most dear friend is gone. Executed by the same Empire she already cursed.

Atop that, the ache of her new Connection surges. Sparring against her usual calm.

All she can do is scream to the stars. Grief, fury and helplessness spilling out in a single trembling cry.

This was going to be a long year. . .

They were vows she had long forgotten. On an isle now deemed destroyed and ruined. In a kingdom whose titles did not exsist anymore. She had become her own woman in that time. To love a man who many aclaimed beneth her. With children to call her own in a rare marriage of love. The crusaders were only but a small fraction of her history, yet they had garnered many memories for her if only so little. Arya wonders, if only for a moment, how the crusaders are doing. What had they been up too long since the split? She would only find out through word of mouth, through missive. Another name, lost to death.

"GOD help us." She muttered under her breath. "GOD help us all. May you walk amongst the seven skies and may your legacy outlast us all." A plead to her lorraine as she signed it over her chest, praying in her home.

An elder sat in his home after he learned of his friends death, silently yet slowly and steadily turning red in anger. As his pigeon friends observe him, he stood up.

"gggggggrAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" The elder in a fit of rage started breaking stuff and throwing around objects "CURSE THEM! CURSE THEM ALL!" after a while he finally calmed down. ". . . . why. . .. . why. .. . . why. . .." Now, the anger was replaced with sadness as the elder kneeled down crying, repeating the word over and over and over . . .

Onion, having retrieved his body from the empire...places him in her basement floor wrapped with cloth. She kneels next to his body - tears rolling down her eyes -

"He's really gone...You had so many more stories to tell me Turtwin-nim, Appa(dad)...."

She remembers him using bardmancy to make a one-man band and playing his heart out. She smiles thinking of that memory.

"You were quite the talented man."

She caressed his shoulder.

"Turtwin, I'm going to miss you, and i promise you I will hold true to what you believed in - WHAT WE BELIEVE IN "

She rested her head on his chest

"I love you, dad"

𝓡uby smoothed out the aging envelope that had gathered many creases as time went on: His mother's last sentiments to the man- a letter he'd vowed on her deathbed to deliver.

A letter that he'd be carrying for the rest of his life, its recipient never to be found.

A silent apology to them both as time drifted aimlessly forward.

Somewhere along the Southern Shores, would a pitbull perk up from outside the many burrows with Sonia & begin to howl to the moon, sensing something along the wind to bring it a moment of sadness. Despite the halfling child not knowing what had happened, she couldn't help but listen to her companion that sat beside her every waking moment & would offer to hug the pupper with her one arm. It wasn't much, but somewhere out there, there was hope to keep Turtwin's memory living on in good spirits.
