He looked upon the now empty battlefield and sighed in relief, during the entire battle it lacked a soul he

wished night to draw his blade against

“When will they wake? He fights for himself.”

An imperial guard sergeant took a toll of those losses after the battle " Only 300 loses, can't say the same for the 700 dwarves we killed" hed state setting the ledger down as he wrote his after action report " At least we showed up to fight and not hide behind some gates singing drunken songs, I wonder if they will ever decide to leave thier cave and actually fight us instead of kidnapping woman and children on the roads" hed pause as he thought then " thats asking for to much" the sergeant would finish his action report to the armories to clean his gear.

His gaze fixed on a single figure moving behind banners and steel — Hadrian the Mad. Smoke drifted. Orders were shouted. None of it mattered. Dorin breathed once, slow and measured, and loosed his shot. It struck true. He adjusted, fired again. True again. Each bolt forced the king’s guards tighter, each impact stealing ground, stealing confidence. (16 Shots and maybe one egg hit the Mad king in the video)

There was no rage in Dorin’s face. Only resolve.

Stone does not hurry — it pressures.

Hadrian faltered. The line bent. And then, under the weight of relentless fire, the mad king was forced to withdraw, pulled back by men who suddenly understood they were no longer advancing — they were surviving.

Urguan still stood.

Later, when the field had quieted and the missive was finally placed in his hands, Dorin read it without expression.

Retreat. Repositioning. Tactical withdrawal.

He exhaled through his nose, a sound halfway between a breath and a chuckle, and folded the parchment with care. Not mockery — satisfaction.

“They came for Urguan,” he murmured, pride settling heavy and warm in his chest. “And they left.”

No boasting followed. No need for words carried on the wind. The stone beneath his boots had done what it always did — endured. And he had stood with it, shot after shot, until even a mad king learned what pressure feels like.

Dorin tucked the missive away.

Let history write it however it wished.

Urguan had not fallen.

The musin king smiled as one of his scouts hands him the missive.

"More news, sir. The dwarves won."

"Urguan stands proud this day." The grey mouse said with a nod, reading over the parchment, thumb tracking the lines, "Fine work Buttons." He said as he read the mousefolk's name, "Musin would beh proud."

"The Imperium does ne have long to live... How super duper sad..." The 'aheral would say, giggling. She would then begin plucking the dead Imperials teeth out... One by one, then proceeding to slice off the hands of the various dead to get those decorative finger bones and rat food.

When she was done, she would put them all in a sack. "Hadrian... High Keeper, King of Norland... Hah... Your days are numbered... Bye bye friends..." She would say with a loud cackle, loud enough for those by the gates of Urguan to hear. She would then begin happily skipping off!

A young snow elven bard finally let his bow down, spear fallen as the enemy fled into the darkness of the caves. - And away from his home. - How amazing it truly was, the power of united people, standing against quite literally half the world. . .

"Through Fire and Stone. - Through Steel and Smoke.

Grab a spear and move. - For we fight for future!

Grab a bow and shoot. - For we fight to prevail!

May the arrow fall. - May the weapon pierce the flesh!

Fight till you can't! - For the opportunity we take!"

His voice yelled into the caverns as he connected to his magic. - The loudness of Bardmancy making it even louder without breaking the tune. - Amazing of a fight for sure!
