To the citizens of Virú, our allies, companions, and honored guests,

 

It is in this age, characterized by strife, ambiguity, and war, that House Salazar and House Trastámara invite you to The Winter Star Ball. It will take place within the halls of Virú. We do not invite you to this event in ignorance of what is transpiring. We invite you in defiance of despair.

 

Winter has fallen upon the land, harsh and unrelenting. But even in these times, the soul needs to be nurtured. Tonight can remind the people of Viru that the land lives on; its people still come together to dance and to laughter. Morale, like fire, needs to be fed in order for it not to dwindle.

 

This is in honor and celebration of the people of Virú and all who stand beside us in alliance and amistad.

 ✴ An Evening Light in the Middle of Winter ✴

 

The Winter Star Ball will be a night of music and dance and fellowship in the glow of candlelight and starlight. Though the world outside our walls is beset by troubles of all kinds, inside the ballroom there will be room for laughter, conversation and shared relief.

 

Guests are encouraged to participate as they will, to dance, to speak out, or simply to bask in the beauty of fellow companionship. Let the evening pass at a more relaxed speed, tranquilamente, that spirits might lift and hearts might find some respite. Even if only for one night.

 ❆Dress Code & Conduct ❆

 

Additionally, guests are requested to don their finest wintertime attire, with whites, silvers, light blues, soft grays, and deep midnight blues being encouraged. Cloaks and accessories such as furs with a frosty or starlight theme are also warmly welcomed.

 

As this event aims to promote unity and comfort, all participants are kindly requested to display respect, courtesy, and consideration for the other people surrounding them. 

✴ Attendance ✴ 

 

All Viruvian citizens are welcome. As well as the allies of Virú. The noble-born, the common man. The traders and religious. The military. The foreign visitors. All are welcome in our halls. No one needs to wonder if they are included. It is for all. A communal inhalation of warmth from a frigid period.
