t was some time after the fall of Royal Johannia that the Orenid scourge first lifted its head from the rubble of our Kingdom. Draped in the cloak of righteousness, these heretics befell the new inhabitants of the elden Godwinite lands. However, as the Alstionite cause saw resurgence under the guidance of Edward and Cecily, so too did order begin to return to the Lowlands of the olde Kingdom. The misguided followers of Saul lost their grip and soon vanished into obscurity, as is their place. It was thought, following our exodus to Azuras, that these ungodly men were thought to have perished forever, forgotten and banished from memory. Alas, the truth is often not so kind. Evil persists.

During a task bestowed to one of the Squires of the Most Noble Order of the White Hart; proof was discovered of Orenid resurgence within our Godwinite realm. A letter, undecipherable as of now, bearing the marks and signatures of the Saulite heretics. It is evident these false men must be rooted out, before they are ever granted the ability to lift their heads above the shallow pits of lies and deceit they have made their home in. It has been a number of years since the formation of our Most Noble Order of the White Hart; in this time, a number of good and loyal men have set out to seek the right to inhabit its ranks. It is time for such a man to face his final Quest as a Squire of our Order.

Therefore, do we command the LORD JANOS IVANOVICH (@John Joe Walter) to seek out any and all activity regarding the Orenid scourge. They are bestowed command and authority to lead men of the Archduchy in this task; to patrol its borders and to question its citizens. Once the origin of this plague has been identified, the Lord Ivanovich is to eradicate it for good. Should they be successful in this task, they are to be summoned to attend myself and His Highness the Archduke at Castle Glasgon; to speak the Mer-King’s Oath and assume their rightful place as a Knight of the Most Noble Order of the White Hart.

"Nien another Ivanovich. . . " an elder peer of Alba squinted at the parchment, holding it up close to his spectacles, before tossing it in the fire.

[!] Unbeknownst to the Knight-Commander, a copy of this missive, pinned to a noticeboard gracing a remote Alban village, was counterstamped with a simpler, crude reply:

A distant Ratispora nodded at this parchment and smiled at the name 'Ivanovich' remembering the days of old Adria, and their duchy.
