An Invitation to the

“Fate does not promise love, only the moment where two hearts may decide.”

By decree and warm invitation of Alfonso Tomas Salazar, the High Lordship of Virú shall hold a Valentine’s celebration imbued with elements of fate, chance, and mutual intent.

The celebration shall be open to all who seek new connections and to all who have already formed connections. 

 

Those who wish to participate in the paired games and matchmaking must send a sealed letter. The letter will contain all necessary information for meaningful pairing. Established pairs may send one letter together if they wish to be paired together. 

 

The afternoon shall commence with a series of mutual challenges and diversions to foster cooperation and connection, such as:

• Paired Hide & Seek to test cooperation throughout the city of Virú.

• The Couples’ Quiz, a lighthearted test of intuition and familiarity.

• A Grand Scavenger Hunt, sending couples out into the city in pursuit of clues and tokens.

• Other games and chance-based entertainment options will be available during the festival.

 

For couples seeking a deeper form of insight, a special tarot card reader will be made available for a short time. Individual readings will be available for ten mina, while couples’ readings will be available for fifteen mina. This service will not be available for the entire festival.

 

The games will come to a halt for a short interlude of a Saints’ hour or two. This is a time for couples, new or old, to walk, talk, and get acquainted at their own pace.

 

As night falls, Viru will be replaced by candlelight and sophistication for a Valentine Night Ball. This will be accompanied by a live performance by Landskar

 

Throughout the day, merchants and artisans are invited to sell their wares. There is a special invitation for Valentine-themed items such as flowers, candies, letters, charms, and keepsakes.

 

This is a festival of first meetings and familiar hands. Fate will bring couples together for a day of games and tests or reaffirm the bonds that have endured.
