What Pétrine partisans had gathered to her side endured rigorous training under the harsh tutelage of Sir Paul Montalt and the Ferrymen, and when the time for battle finally came, Renilde I’s forces amounted to just under 2,000.

Sir Paul Montalt can sleep soundly in Hell knowing that he slaughtered the Balianese colonizers and sent them back to whence they came. The trauma of the Balianese' own very existence was so repulsive, that Paul and his descendants forged a half-way decent relationship with the Haensemen in the century afterwards. After all, the Haenseman did what they did for territorial advancement - the Balianese just sought to undermine anybody they could, traveling in the underbrush like wretched serpents and then biting whatever passerby was misfortunate enough to stumble upon them.

The Lord of Montalt, Count of Mardon, toasted his Haeseni and Ferryman allies before he again faded from memory.

Rest in Peace,

𐠒 Sir Paul Dmitrievich Montalt "The Tongue".

Why was he called that? Because he relished in ripping out the tongues of his foes, and it became his knightly epithet. Paul's ghost would always relish in the victory claimed that day, where good triumphed over evil, and the invaders were cast out at sword point.

Sir Joseph Vasile touts his 2-0 war record to everyone else lingering around limbo. They all shrug and pass on, moving closer to heaven than he, slow-walking to let everyone behind him know as well.

A once-prince of the destroyed Haeseni realm, now an increasingly elderly man, perused the study with his single eye; his expression mired in amusement and woe both. Aleksandr of Barbanov-Bihar-Galahar lamented to the much younger scions of the Galahar family.

"Godan, we were strong back then. How far the old realm rose, only to whittle away, fall and crumble to dust. Now, Haense is less than dust, it is nothing at all."

He tapped the page before him, and cast a glance askew to his nephews.

"Such tragedies ought to be remembered once wrought. To grant our ancestors that honour, at least, would be right."

This missive only strengthens the Goblin's belief, that Petra needs a sole Female leader - to stop the Aduniafication & bring forth The Petran Independence.

Mega biased but this is an amazing post - what a great way to keep history alive & let people remenicence or learn. I look forward to more & especially to Veletz War & Heartlands Crisis.
