CLARIFICATION OF LEADERSHIP

 

The House of de Pelear has long been silent since the fall of our beloved Hyspia. Such silence from our Head of House has brought about confusion of who is to lead us in this new age of strife. That era of silence is to be ended now before someone whose lineage does not appear upon the old De Pelear familial records, which are public, tries to impose their will upon our House and drag us into a war that we have no obligation to be in, especially on the side of our long-time adversaries, the Orcs of the Horde. Any and all, aside from this Alcalde of Ipanema would know of how the Orcs attributed to the dissolution of our beloved nation and fighting with our adversary would only add our house's name to a list of those that will be hunted down well past the end of this Age.

Therefore, as blood of the last Queen and King of Hyspia, Xiomara I and Ser Julian I, I declare anyone that attempts to usurp this seat from me a pretender and usurper. The position of Head of House of de Pelear shall be inherited by its rightful heir, myself:

The legal and familial evidence of my ascension to the Head of our familia is the following:

• The line of Crown-Princess Amarantha Cristana de Pelear is not eligible as a result of her excommunication from the Church during the War of the Crown and Crozier.
• The line of Prince Antonio Olivar de Pelear is not eligible as a result of him marrying out of the family, therefore foregoing his position as second-in-line to the Patriarchy of de Pelear.
• The line of Prince Isidoro Lucero de Pelear is currently not eligible as the Prince was the youngest of Queen Xiomara I and Ser-King Julian I’s four children.
• The line of Princess Cataleya Valentina de Pelear, therefore, is the most senior and direct line of de Pelear, able to trace its lineage from Xiomara I and all the way back to Viceroy Cesar I, to take on the mantle of the Patriarchy/Matriarchy of de Pelear.

 

As I am the oldest of Princess Cataleya’s children, leading this Familia back to greatest is my duty by birthright. Any who challenge this succession by birthright is to physically bring themselves forth to myself so that chaos does not take hold of our familia any longer.

 

Señor Dominigo, you may remain within the borders of the Horde, but you will not drag my familia’s name through the sand for your allegiance with those that have caused our people to scatter across the land. Therefore, you will no longer hold the name of de Pelear until you come to your senses or you come to challenge me in the flesh.
