A Collection of Stardust

To Those Who it Bares Relevance, 

On this day, the house of Galdissiel again grows in size. Posed as heir to the name, Maeth Galdissiel, Laurir of Caras Siol and its people puts fourth the official notice of adoption of one she refers to as affectionately as "Stardust", or Caira known by name. The recognized bond of the two has been fosted between a probationary period by the adoptees request. In such, tests of heart and strength were shown between promises unbroken with the two. The adoptee also requested voice in this documentation to stipulations that guide matters if Maeth were to fail in her duties as Matron, or not be present in times of need in Caira's development. 

The following is hereby recognized as a requirement of the Matron to uphold and understand each listed stipulation to ensure safety of the adoptee: 
 

I: By signing this form Maeth  agrees to take Caira into her care and custody and will have full power to act as a custodian until Caira reaches the age of 28.Should circumstances arise where a custodian is needed past the age of 28 Caira agrees that a court or governing body may decide that Maeth may act on her behalf until decided that Caira can make sound and capable decisions on her own. Should Caira wish to be considered an adult and have custody revoked before 28, it must be agreed upon by both parties. This stipulation over rides law of other nations where Caira may already be considered an adult, and is purely for the safety of her mental state due to medical and developmental issues. Should Caira wish to join any organized guard force, military or religious organization where her wellbeing is to be put into question, she is to have express permission from Maeth.

 

II: It is agreed that Maeth must shelter, feed and provide emotional care and support as well as physical care  for Caira and that any breach of this term or contract may result in the government taking temporary custody of Caira while an investigation is done into the child welfare. In regards to punishment and discipline it is acknowledged that Caira is not always of sound mindset and therefore unique punishments or discipline to ensure the child's safety from herself and others may be used with the exception of any physical punishment or punishment that can hurt Caira. Should Maeth ever strike Caira in anger or outside combat Caira may invoke the right to end the family relationship.

 

III: It is agreed that Caira acknowledges the authority, power and control Maeth would rightfully have regarding Cairas actions, wellbeing, care and development; of which would be equal to and no less or more  of that of a natural born daughter and mother relationship. 

 

IV: In the event that Maeth must depart, due to travel, duty or unforeseen circumstances for an extended period lasting more than 2 elven days,  a pre-determined guardian of sound mind and standing of whom Caira has met and accepted before hand shall be appointed to take care of Caira with full parental authority as if Maeth were present with the education, safety and well-being of Caira being priority. Should Caira become separated from her guardian the local governing body shall be notified and every attempt to reunite the  family should be made. If at any point Caira feels she is being mistreated by the appointed guardian Caira may invoke the ability to stay at any of her own private residences.

V: In regards to the line of succession, upon natural death, whether by age or in the line of adventure or duty, Maeth shall have designated and assigned - portion of her estate and/or possessions to Caira. Should Caira perish first an establish written will shall dictate her final wishes. A 7 elven day grace / waiting period shall be evoked upon either death before any transfers can take place to fully ensure that the dead has not risen or been resurrected by known or unknown forces.

 

If accepted by the adoptee via signature of this document below, therein is entitled to the right to bare the name Galdissiel in all legal documentation, title acquisitions, and other forms of identification therein. Likewise, the title of daughter of the house will be granted  in all aspects. Stipulations disclosed above were spoken of and agreed upon for these documents were filed. A trusted witness to the signing will be present during the signing, one Neia Ąžuolas Ibar'ame de Whitewood, trusted companion of the Matron of house Galdissiel. 

The conclusion of this choice is placed plainly on the shoulders of the adoptee, being that they are of full aged. Through the bonds formed between the two, may this family remain strong and unbroken till the hands of time claim their souls done of this realm to return to the soil once more.
