With potential secession of the city and its merge with the Disciples of Valor the government is being changed slightly. According to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=3171 There are going to be 2 high kings and 1 vice king. (The names are subject to change). These positions are elected by the Residents of Kal’Alras and the Disciples of Valor. Government Positions: hese are positions in the High Ting. Two High Kings that rules the nation. In votings, their vote is worth 3 votes. They have the last say in everything that the High Ting comes up with. One Vice King, that rules the nation in the High Kings absence. Their votes is worth 2 vote. If the High Kings wants 2 different things, The Vice King helps to make decision with his vote. One Leader of the Army Builds and pay wages to the army. Decides where to put strategic forts. Decides military matters. Recruits a High Judge, that helps him in court system. Vote is worth 1 vote. One Leader of the State Fixes taxes, helping making regions for homes. Keeps track of incomes and expenditures. Recruits a High Merchant that helps him to keep track of prices, and that goes to other nations and proposes trade deals that the State Leader makes. Vote is worth 1 vote. One Arch Mage, who is voted up by the ordinary magicians Will keep track of every magician in the nation. will guide them, lead them by making an Magic Order (?) (help with making jobs for the Arch Mage please) One Tribune that the people vote up Are there to represent the peoples voices. Vote are worth 1 vote. One Ting Lord that is voted up by the lords Are there to represent the lords voices. Helps the lords with managing towns/land. Is the second most powerful position(third if you count both high kings) Vote is worth 2 vote. Lords are chosen by te Ting Lord Are allowed to be on meetings, and to express their opinions. But they are NOT allowed to vote. Are allowed to recruit local town guards. Persons looking to apply for the positions should post their applications here. I have always been respectful of dos above me and have aided in any way that I can. I have been generous to de city through donations of me time and me wealth. Having served on the High Council as the Grand Merchant fer de city I have gathered and cared for the food of the city, as well as gathered other resources and treasures for the betterment of the city and also fer trade to other cities. Me trade agreements have prospered and netted de community a fair amount of minas given the time frame that I have worked in. If elected I intend to do me part faithfully and continue to help support the community to make it prosperous, and te serve my Kings as they see fit. OOC: So this is my shot at an application. I’ve seen most of the members of Kal’Alras around at least once. I’ve tried to always be helpful and show new people around to the houses and the wonders that Kal’Alras has to offer. I’ve pretty much always helped out with a building project if it needs help and have faithfully kept to the ooc and ic laws. I’m also on the server a lot. I’ve spent a lot of time talking with people around town and am on good terms with basically everyone. I’m also on good terms with most of the leadership in Kal’Alras particularly Rasun, as we’ve spent a lot of time building with him. Heh, i never thought it would get that far. Starting as an little guard from Kal'Urguan trying to get to a place with more people. Then i find Kal'Alras a small community. Well made, i thought it was my shot for a new start. I started as a Guardian, were we only had 3 people in. Golradir Kahhem and me. Kahhem was never there and Golradir was in command. So i was some of the first to colonize Kal'Alras. And i must say im impressed of how far it came. I ranked up along with my friend Longbeard and then i started having minor control over the guards. I always tried to get them to work and i must say: Thank you Delios and Dunhagen for working so hard. You earned that promotion, more then i earned mine. But now i want to do more for Kal'Alras. But i can't rule a land. So an advisor would suit me just fine. Though Gulroid is just as good or better at this job then me i still want to have do more. So i hope i win. But if it seems that i won't ill retire and support Gulroid. EDIT: I change my mind. I will work hard as a Tribune insteadl. I know sum of ye already are gonna vote fer me an' algoda but 'ere be me application. I have led te city of Kal'Alras whenever Algoda is absent (( usually nighttime in america )) so I am well known among te citizens. I have led many building projects and helped with guarding, selling homes, and the such. I know I have supporters but wanted te get me word out! Don't know what else te say mates but te vote fer me! Keeps the nation great wif algoda and me as leaders. So if ye want te city te stay strong as it is, vote fer me and algoda!! Didag 4 Share Posted July 17, 2011 RP name: Golradir MC name: Didag Forum name: Didag Position applying for: Leader of State IC: As one of the first people to settle in Kal'Alras I feel that I am perfect for the spot of Leader of State. I moved into Kal'Alras the day it opened and have loved it ever since. The people of the city were very kind and welcoming so I bought a small house and shop. After a few days of selling my wares in the city I felt that I should help and give back to the city so I became the first guard of Kal'Alras. I rose through the ranks and eventually became the Guardian Commander. I also sat on the town council and helped make important decisions about the future of the city. I donated much of my gold and diamond to the making of the 2 pickaxes that now sit in the main hall. I have always been kind and helpful towards the citizens and have also helped the leaders of the city with expanding the city and other building projects such as the giant forest I am currently building in the nature district. I enjoyed being The Commander but I have never really been a fighting type and I feel that my talents could be put to better use elsewhere. If I am elected I intend to continue to help the city and to serve the community to the best of my abilities. OOC: Hey everybody... Thanks for reading this far :P I have been a mod and admin on several other servers and forums so I feel that I display a fairly good sense of leadership. I know and am on good terms with practically everyone in the town and have always been kind and helpful towards them. I have always followed the rules of the city and payed my taxes on time. I feel that I have fulfilled all the required criteria for this position and I really hope to get the job.
