Gobb'Mar 67 Share Posted November 19, 2011 From my personal experience, the clans of Krugmar don't really seem to be a big deal. They just seem to be a name that Orcs go under, not really the tight-nit families they're meant to be. Another problem we seem to have in Krugmar is the lack of conflict, something that personifies the orcs. But why do we need outer conflict, why must we be at war with another nation, when we can instead fight eachother! In my opinion, I think the clans of Krugmar shouldn't really be friendly towards eachother like they are now, but rather they should be unfriendly, and rivals, fighting for supremacy (think Battle-Borns and Grey-manes from Skyrim). I also think that being in a clan should be a compulsory and important decision. Right now, there are many orcs (including myself) that do not have a clan, whether that be because they don't want to, they haven't asked, or haven't been offered to join one. Kooka hasn't joined a clan because he really hasn't been attached to anyone enough to join their clan, neither does he believe that it's that important. (He's also not sure whether to leave the old Duras clan (his birthclan) for dead.) I think that Orcs who are clanless should be frowned upon, and clans should be a bigger part of Orcish culture. Right now, the ruling clan are the Gorkils (the Warlord is a Gorkil), but there are very high up Lurs and Kogashs. Also, the Gorkil clan is considerably bigger than any of the other clans. The Lurs and Kogash accept the Gorkils rule, but imo they shouldn't, wouldn't they want to be the ruling family? Goldrim 1422 Share Posted November 19, 2011 OOC: You're completely right and i agree with you, but sadly the Kogash have disbanded because of several reasons, but fighting with another Clan was definatly something i had in mind. All orcs are friends OOCly I don't think inner conflict is needed.. OOC: Thats where you're completely wrong, you shouldn't take OOC matters IC. Lurs be small clan but such honorable and strong warriors wud be gud klomp. Aerog flatted body still stronger dan some new runts! ((Being friends ooc makes it more fun to be enemies ic i think as there won't be as much butt'hurtness. When i joined Gorkils their was only 3 or 4 other members but to be honest if Mogroka would have asked me when they had 10+ members i would have turned him down even though i like him ooc and ic i would have wanted to spread the wealth. I hope to see more clans. If Baisha and Monkey were still on we would have started a Goblin clan. They would have been a good catalyst for conflict for instance we are working on things for the Lurs and the Gorkils want our services...and thus...they fight for us:D I always wanted a bunch of big strong orcs fighting over me.)) craotor 617 Share Posted November 19, 2011 (( well ic craotor has some resentment for the gorkills since they helped the Dom clan and almost wiped out the lur clan.But i grew to like the gorkills and now i trust em and consider Many if them brudahs.But if they ever do some corrupt stuff my clan will be the first to put a sword in their throat.And i agree we need goblin clan and more gobos!!)) None of you know this in-character though, hur hur.)) ((I'm sure clan conflict will come. I honestly thought we had one coming with the Kaxil, but they sort've piddled out. I've sensed one coming from the Kogash, but have yet to see it. Gorkil and Lur have ended up pretty tight, and it would take something major to provoke them into a fight. If we can ever come up with some role-play and coordinate some short-term conflicts, I'd be down. This means Broxigar is still out there raising Gromash, Agra, and Soineata. Broxigar is wanted by Warmistress Mirabelle for the attempted murder of Ciar and kidnapping of the cubs. moondoggy 27 Share Posted November 20, 2011 ((well if descendants of the dom or rax came back it might mix things up quite a bit. the lurs are still kinda pissed at gorkils for supporting the dom clan with or'ta and the clan wars also the rax are still pissed about losing to the gorkils, lurs, and misc. others so...who knows:D "and then they all found out, Yahgy was long lost descendant of Rax. can't you tell?"
