Maybe we I can lead an effort to rebuild Ravenhold? I, myself, think we should. Show them we dont take it and bury it in emotions. But instead take it in and make something of it. I would gladly see to its reconstruction after rebuilding the front gate.

I don't like war, it makes us weak...

No.

Does no one remember the Ascended? When during our times of need, they left our realm to spend their time constructing houses for them to live in? They left us to die, while they relaxed in their lands of light and warmth.

Time spent building the town will be wasted. They'll only come back and undo our work.

Removing the "un" from our enemies' name must be our highest priority.

But that is an opinion. If we dont rebuild it can show a sign of weakness. You dont want to get into a fight with me over this since I know I would win friend. So I say we rebuild and call it New Ravenhold and stage it as a war city for us to plan attacks since its so far down south. No one would disturb us there again and they would think that it will never be rebuilt. So its the smart thing to do.

I don't see how you came to the conclusion that they wouldn't attack us. None of us imagined that they would infiltrate Malinor to attack the Sister City - what makes you think they won't do it again?

Well I dont. We should still rebuild and show strength. Thats why we take care of our cities unlike other races. They just let things fall while we want things to rise.

...In my opinion, true strength is shown through the people, not the buildings they live in.

To each his own.

Yes but how would people show strength if we dont show we can bounce back from an attack that can devastate those who loved the city or place? Hm? And I know people show strength but we must show we can do anything no matter how small or idiotic it can be!

It is the Children of Malinor that have strength, not the land in which we build upon. The forests will reclaim the rubbled cities in time. Buildings can be rebuilt at anytime.

Time however isn't a luxury we have Deltaro. We have grown complacent, being near immortal has left us sloth in our endeavors. We should look to the younger children of this world as an example. We must use the time we have wisely and swiftly! The undead have shown they will attack us again and again. They will not just stop at Sister City, Ravenhold, or even smaller places such as the Tree Top Inn. But until all of Malinor burns.

Deltaro, you know this is true. You've seen the gateway in the heart of Laurelin. Have we not have seen to its sealing, what other destruction could have been had?

its a shame that dark times turned to what we thought would be the last safe place on Aegis. I guess i need to get off my lazy but and get in action. The elves have my sword, bow and strenght and i will do anything to take down any enemy tryng to get rid of malinor.

*he leaves the note and mumbles some words* what has come to this world? who is next to turn out to be evil? the high prince himself? high king syrio? the warlord? the new king of Oren?

Fine.... I give up. But we should rebuild it sometime in the future. I see Ravenhold as a city we could flee to if Laurelin were to be destroyed. Not Sister City or Serpent Ridge since its in close proximity. But we should rebuild it as a fall back point or a war room kind of city.

You do bring up a rather good point. If it comes down to it, we would need a place to seek refuge. We also need such a place to protect those that are unable to fight such as the elder ancestors and what few children that dwell in Malinor.

I don't believe Ravenhold is the place for it however. Our dwellings proved to be a death trap from all the fire that spread. We'll need a more resilient means of structures to provide a suitable defense.

I'll survey the area around for a suitable location.

We should build a fort on top of the ruins of ravenhold, once the undead come back there they will regret that they ever destroyed ravenhold!

By the way, if your wandering what kind of fort I had in mind, use these walls: My wall disign

They won't dare to touch malinor ever again!
