The New Elven Military

Attention everyone!

The elves are going to be creating the official military of Malinor!

The Military of Malinor can and will be made up of every race and guild out there. So if you are a mercenary guild why not join into the Military of Malinor.

Our barracks will be near the entrance for those who wish to speak to us about it. If you have a small guild or a big guild why not join us! The wardens have been doing nothing for us elves but sit around there fort all day and watch us being attacked.

The High Prince has agreed to this reform of military and we will protect our lands! We are still getting situated but we will be up and running soon.

So if you and some friends of yours, or your guild, wish to join in contact Ebs [VonEbs] or me, Deltaro [KarmaDelta].

We will be overseeing this for a short while till we can get an actual leader of this military order.

Remember feel free to ask us anything you wish. And we will accept anyone with the right skills.

...I'll admit - I didn't expect this, especially from someone like you, Deltaro.

I lack optimism for your cause and I have to question your ability to lead a military force, but I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

Ebs and Deltaro, this job will be a problem. The same thing happened with Grim, we as mages must remain neutral and if you plan on leading armies to battle then this could create a conflict with your position in the mages guild.

I am the leader now and right now trying to make pacts with other races. And hoping to get more alliances army by army. Even if we are in alliance with other nations i want military support from everyone.

Dont worry I will think of more things to balance this out.

This entire guild is an insult to the wardens. We have not sat around we have defended malinor almost every time it was attacked. We missed one fight and now everyone is going crazy. We are still fit to be the elven military. Furthermore this new elven military makes no sense. What if our relations with another race goes bad. This could cause major problems with members of said race going to fight for their people instead of you. I for one resent this guild it is a disgrace to malinor and to the wardens and it should be abolished.

This is not a guild, it is the new official military of Malinor. You admit to missing one battle, I do believe you have missed more than one. If you think this is an insult, that is your opinion and I respect it. It might appear to be one from you point of view. Talk to Deltaro or Native about it.

I agree a pack like this could be mutually benificial. We do need more active leaders and you need more people. But I will not join you unless the other wardens choose to as well.

Regarding your earlier statement Deltaro, You say that we don't go to battle without our leaders? Was a leader present today when we thought we may be attacked? I don't believe so, your simply throwing your opinions out because many of the Wardens are now trying to defend themselves here. I am not worried about this at all, if Quazar does not show and act upon this matter by the end of the day I will more then likely leave the Wardens.

What is passed is now in the past. The Wardens have not been forsaken by the Council. In addition the Wardens have no shirked their duties. What has happened to Sister City and Ravenholde is not the fault any individual or the fault of any single group.

It is the fault of all of our kin. We all share these tragedies together. The Wardens could not have changed the outcome of the attacks, and we might even say we are lucky that they were not present. These fine warriors might not be here today.

The Wardens were never intended to fight a full scale war as we are required to do. Prince Native realized this, and that is the reason for the formation of the Vanguard. The Wardens were meant to protect our peace and our livelihood. Never to wage war. We cannot place the blame upon them for not doing such that which we never required in the beginning.

As I said, the only ones to blame is ourselves. We have lived in ages of peace that our ability for war has been left to atrophy. The Vanguard is not a replacement to the Wardens. It is a means to address the current situation that threatens our lives, our culture, and our homeland.

Malinor cannot fight amongst itself, now is the time for unity. The Vanguard will be at the center of that unity. It will be the arm of Malinor, to protect its children. It is this, which is Prince Native's Intent.

We will gladly accept any aid that the Wardens can provide. They are our kin and will be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve as such. They are brave and fine warriors. We will not let the absence of their leadership detract from their successes in the past.

We will not let the Undead succeed in the destruction of Malinor. Nor will we show weakness or discontent to the eyes of the younger races that ever so greedily watch for any sign of weakness in their neighbors.

Let this be a message to all those who dare threaten Malinor, be it undead or otherwise: You will not succeed, and you will perish under the wrath of Malinor's Children if should you dare any violence against the Holy Princedom.
