[[ Yep, so, I won't be able o get to the meeting. It's like a 25-50% chance I can. My school laptop was taken for the holidays, and I have this crappy laptop that does a good 1-2 FPS! ]]

((Ehi. Killed my old character and have a shiny new one called Nurrak! Basically, he's Bowman's son (Don't ask 'Who is Bowman's wife?', I have that covered), and, quick question, do I have to reapply for this?))

As per the request of Hiebe and Algrim.... here ya go. Enjoy!

LotC name: Grabthar

MC name: swordcoast25

Age: 114

Race: Dwarf

Profession: Miner/Architect

Highest skills: Mining 100 / Excavation 100

Relation to the family:

Sit back cuz this will be a long one; Fer years Grabthar was alone. Working his inn, diggin the earth, enjoying his time. But he was always searching. Searching for the one to call mother.

Grabthar's father was a great warrior of the Ironclaw Clan. A strong, boisterous clan from far away lands. They loved their drinkin' almost as much as they loved their fightin'. Grabthar did not fit in with this lifestyle and took to spending days inside the mines digging, only to surface and start building great structures.

Grabthar was smaller then all other Ironguts, and was treated as a weakling for this. It would be years before he found the true reasons why.

Grabthar's father, Drothar, had gotten drunk one week in late winter, many years before. He and his fellow dwarves decided on doin some raidin', fer the good o' the clan, of course. During their exploits, several were injured and returned to the clan. But Drothar was too drunk to make it back. He fell unconcious somewhere in the snowy mountains south of his home. When he awoke, he was being tended to by what he thought was a child. He would come to find that this was no child, but a halfling. It may have been the excess amounts of alcohol still coursing through his veins, but Drothar fell instantly for this little beauty. After he was well, he began his trek home, but not before pronouncing his love for the little miss. Her name was Rose... Rose Gamgee. Drothar returned home to his wife, and children, and for the most part resumed his life as an upstanding, if not drunken, pillar of the Ironclaw community. But every few weeks, Drothar would long to see his beautiful Rose. He would leave the depths of the mountain and return to the home of his love. After a few months of this Rose sat him down and told him, she was pregnant. Drothar in a drunken fit stormed away. Swearing and bellowing that it could not be his. That was the last time Drothar saw his Rose.

Two years later a bundled up child was found outside the clans cave entrance with a note that simply said Grabthar on it. The child was obviously a dwarf, as his chin was nearly as hairy as his head. He was rushed to the High Lord at once. Drothar, the High Lord's advisor instantly knew where the baby had come from. It had his eyes, his nose, even his unmistakable smile. After much debate, Drothar convinced the High Lord to let him take care of the child.

And so Grabthar became an Ironclaw with his father. Many years would pass and the boy would becoime a man before he would learn of these events. An evening of drinking with his father, would turn into a pouring of old stories and eventually Grabthar learned the name of his true mother.

Now, after many years of searching the lands. Of traveling the whole of Aegis, and building a life for himself, he finally found another piece to the puzzle. During one of his treks through the north lands in search of animals to hunt, Grabthar stumbled across a small snow covered hut. He took refuge inside, as it looked long abandoned. At dawn Grabthar readied to leave when he noticed a word. A single word scribbled on an envelope. Rose. Memories flooded his mind and in a rush Grabthar searched the house for anything. In the end he found numerous papers with the name Rose Gamgee on them. Had deduced that she had left this place many years earlier. And also found that she has a single brother by the name of Percival, that had at one time lived far to the south. What struck him odd was the last name. Irongut. Grabthar had known many Ironguts in his travels, and was now apparently, at least through some long line, related to them.

Calling all Ironguts!

*You hear Algrim shooting in the manor you drop what you are doing and begin ta listen.

Brothers and Sisters!

I have found the walk ta Kal'Urguan from the manor is getting harder these days. Th' Galahar guards 'ave become corrupt and it is time ta do something about it! I think we th' Ironguts should declare war on th' guards and join the effore ta end their corruption. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/34858-the-purge/page__gopid__225617#entry225617 This 'ere is th' group ta take em down! I say we talk ta Ingot and get all 'ov th' Ironguts ta fight back!
