Irongut Clan

The Ironguts.... a proud, longest living dwarven clan of Urguan. We be the sturdiest and strongest dwarves around! We are direct descendents of our great father and great paragon Urguan. We hold great axes in our hands and smith the finest armors. We also have a great hidden library with many books of the old days which I have been slowly recovering from within the family tombs.

Relation to the family: My father, Braun Longsword, and uncle, Brome Diamondfist, were bastard twins of Draco Irongut. Draco didn't know about them and they didn't know about him. Their mother died when they were young and they were raised in Kal'Urguan by a kind dwarven smith. Braun went on to marry and have me as a son. Since my family never knew we were Ironguts we took on last names based on actions and who we were. They defined us in a way. My father was a warrior and a smith, my uncle a master miner. When I was a very young beardling my uncle took me on a mining expiditon, while there we stood under a roof of sand and suddenly two skeletons attacked, my uncle pushed me out of the way and caused the roof to fall. He killed the skeletons but also himself. I then went on to search through caverns in the deep in search of monsters to kill. At that time I took the name Deepdelver. Since then I have gone on to be relieved of my hatred and anger for the dark things. I am an enemy to the undead but rage no longer consumes me. My new name, Silverfist, came from a blessing I received from Aeriel and Hrithgar. My master was showing me smithing techniques and was using a powerful enchantment. I was holding some silver trinkets I had made and there was a light. When I awoke I found my right forearm was solid silver. My master, Gotrek, could feel magic in it. The reason I have kept this name is because the tradition of taking last names that represent who you are is a part of me. We couldn't explain it but I now truly believe that it was a gift from Hrithgar that Aeriel told him to bestow on me. Throughout all of this I have been a Valve Herald, a lieutenant in the UAC and FoA, and the apprentice to Gotrek at different times. I am now Forge Lord of the Dwarves and a cleric of Aeriel and Hrithgar. I have many friends in many places including my fellow smiths, some ascended such as Blaedr and Hiebe, and orcs and humans such as Maur and Jack.

Relation to the family: - My father was Lau'far Irongut, son of Heron. He was eventually excuted for corruption and allegence to the Undead. The only reason I found out about my lineage, was by going through his personal notes and journals after his death. Within those note, I found the name of his father, Heron. Only through further research did I find that that Lau'far was only a beardling of 10 years at the time of Heron's death, the youngest son of Heron Irongut.

Relation to the family, (story): My father, Draco Irongut, was a miner. He spent much time searching the caverns for Ores to feed his many children, me being one of them. He took me, at the age of 9 on one of his mining expeditions. He wanted me to be a rich miner or fierce when I was older,he taught me all I know about mining in that cave. We spent days, even weeks in that cave. But, then I could hear rumbling, then the cave around me started to shake. I, not thinking, ran away from my father. And the wall between me and my father fell, and complete darkness ensued. But, a very peculiar orb of light appeared. Having no hope, I followed it, knowing that it could take me to my death. But, thankfully It guided me to a opening to the surface. The opening was thankfully near the kings road, and near Kal'urugan. But, knowing that my father lives in Alkhazar, and the road was too dangerous for a kid, I heading to Kal'urugan. Where I was taken in by the keeper of the Temple, Thangor. He taught me all I knew about priesthood, and at the age of 24, I left the house to find my destiny.

Well, back in me day, me and my family lived in an ol' mining colony. Well, one day dem Undead minions attacked us, and a lot of me folks were dead. I don't know a lot 'bout me family, but I think that me father came from the proud Irongut clan. I would like ta rejoin me family and live the rest of me days as a proud Irongut.
