The first Elf couple I met in-game were Dark Elves. Whoever has found / read spare copies of my IC journals will know who they are.

I am just an elf ((unaligned to subrace)). I was raised in a noble house by my uncle, but as my mother was a human I dare not don the title of High Elf as it would be an insult to those whose blood is pure.

High elf is translated into "Blessed Elf" from the ancient toungue, so you do not need to be 100% to be a high elf.

Im Just a Elf.... All you see on the streets of Laurelin are Dark Elves, Wood Elves, and Regular Elves. The only place I've seen High elves is either at Whispering Isle's or Alarus. They seem to be more with Humans it appears. Kinda makes you wonder?
