Samson Option 9652 Share Posted December 15, 2011 I don't like it. But he speaks the truth.. Is not the Truth the fundemental building block of reform, I have sworn to bleed and sweat to gain forgiveness, we must bury hatchets when the staves of the fetid necromancers points at all of us. Let us meet, let us entirely be intelligent and watch as I will indeed fix the trivialities that we had been plagued with by the former ruling class. You did this while I was at work, I've written a plethora of intelligent and beautifully written Lore. I would help all of you all even in an OOC Sense by progressing the Roleplay of the Human Kingdom and improve it.)

Arkelos 1027 Share Posted December 15, 2011 ((sidenote, please mind the action bar, thought I removed that when i was taking screenies)) -A note is attached under the Note proclaiming Eze'kiel Tarus king, paintings of the ruins of Wintefell placed under- "Your towns ruined..." "Your people homeless..." "Those injured in the north bound to die..." "Those with power, are corrupted..." "I only see death on the horizon, wars lead to more wars, and wars lead to death, the eternal sleep. May this war of internal conflict drive a nail through Horen's heart." Let us meet, let us entirely be intelligent and watch as I will indeed fix the trivialities that we had been plagued with by the former ruling class. We lived under the Shadow of Enor for the longest time. When the King of Indecisions passes the crown down to a military leader we fear it will be a cycle. Conflict, unprosperity, despair, loss, blood, and tears. We want no more of this. We fear Gaius as a strong, respected military leader, not a politician. To give the crown to someone who only knows war... would be madness

Dash_Rogers 130 Share Posted December 15, 2011 I am pretty dawg damned lost Right now. Can we safely assume that enor is out of power? And he did not have children right? What is the order do we not have a line of successors? And that's no way to address having the realm of Oren's new king " there's a small paper pinned on just one random notice board and it reads "you follow a new king now... Ya da." There needs to be a grand ceremony of some sort with a posted date so all the people may hail in the new leader
Mercius 15 Share Posted December 15, 2011 While Gaius' past actions have made many uneasy, I believe he has the necessary traits to lead Oren into a new golden era. I urge my fellow people to think carefully before tossing away our reputation once more, and think of what glory we could achieve with this man at the helm. He wants to help us, and you do nothing more than throw us into chaos? I cannot side with the latter.
Orm_Proudfoot 61 Share Posted December 15, 2011 Owen Sturdyfoot had been receiving reports on the activities in Oren for several days. The crowning of Hochmeister Gaius, rather than extinguishing the flame of rebellion, seemed to fan it ever brighter. When Owen read a report from his cousin stating that a new king had been crowned by the people, then another hours later that stated Gaius still held the throne, he knew he had to take action to protect his beloved village and neighbours. Slowly walking to the tavern on the lake, past the fields of golden wheat and the sawmill, Owen resolved himself of his decision. At the tavern, he posted the notice he had carefully written before leaving his burrow. To All the Halflings of Dunwood, It saddens me to announce that for our safety and continued peace, I am severing the ties to the human Kingdom of Oren, which our fathers and grandfathers forged over sixty years ago. The troubles arising with the fall of the capital, Al'Khazan, and the subsequent rebellions against the monarchy followed by the week of the three kings, have led me to realize that our association with Oren can bo longer be to our benefit. We are a peaceful, quiet folk, and need take no part in these troubling events. For our continued safety, we can no longer be under the protection of a kingdom that wars with itself at the cost of its capital and countless lives. Dunwood is now independent. ~Owen Sturdyfoot, Mayor of Dunwood
ayresalex 517 Share Posted December 15, 2011 In all honesty. I would gladly rally under Gaius's flag if we was the GENERAL of the Oren army and guard.
