Initially I was just going to play an elf if I got a race change, but if there's a lack of Halflings I'll play it. It seems orcs are pretty damn-well popular now. As far as Halflings go, is there a lot of variation in character, or do people tend to stick to a stereotype?

There is quite a bit of variation, sometimes too much. I don't really like seeing halflings join the military as ordinary foot soldiers... but that's another matter. There is a general lack compared to other subraces, but it seems to draw a few exceptional roleplayers. I can message you later.

Actually thats not true.. We barley have 20-25 people online at the same time.

Welcome back. Maybe you could be some sort of laid back shaman, it's pretty easy for them to skate out of conflict. Just smoke some of that cactus green down by the pond while you fish. Or maybe a Goblin that tinkers around with **** and blows himself up. New map soon and there are a lot of people taking on new characters, so might be a good time to explore something new.

I didn't really mean job variation; although I imagine that being an issue. I think what I'm imagining is a classic miser, which goes against the happy-farmerness of halflings.

I could see a grumpy halfling who hates anyone who disturbs him from his burrow. The main halfling rule is that they don't like violence very much. There's plenty of flexibility as long as you don't want to be some kind of axe-wielding warrior.

Welcome back (maybe)! I now play Krug, son of Mogroka and Mirabelle. You could probably wait and play one of their later children, if you want. XD

EDIT: Read other posts, never mind that. Perhaps wait for 2.0, talk to a GM about playing a native (if there are any) or something? :P

Maybe you can be a grumpy old historian or book keeper. And you can play another chara on the orc card temporarily. Maybe it could have a bit of orc in it, and thats why hes so irritable?

The personalities are semi determined after the roll for pregnancy suceeds. We could easy just make an open slot for someone to make up their own thing for a cub.

Altbough if Mirabelle isnt dragged back soon, Mogroka might not be around for long... I feel so bad for him but meh.
