Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a British person who has experience of playing Role Playing games. I like Role Playing games because they get you more involved and I love Minecraft, so Lord of the Craft seems like the perfect combo.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 2 hours a day

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Role Playing is when you are a fictional character in a fictional world and you have been set an objective you must complete. An example of a Role Playing Game would be Dungeons and Dragons, where the objective is not to fight each other, but to work together.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

MetaGaming- Using outside knowledge to give you an advantage inside a game

PowerGaming- Doing something inside a game which you couldn't do outside a game, like having superpowers

What do you expect this server will be like?: It should be fun and enjoyable

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have only played multiplayer with my friends but I do that quite often, so I do have experience. I have played other Role Playing games though.

Character Name: Borgan Igurg (After his grandfather)

What is your Race?: Orc

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): My character was born in secret in an underground cave underneath the desert. He had to be born in secret because the undead had attacked and wanted to kill every new-born, so his parents decided to raise him where they would never find him. He has gained strength and wealth from working in the Diamond Mines for his parents, until his parents were both killed at war with the undead, leaving Borgan on his own. He does not allow villains to get away with their crimes unpunished, but would never kill somebody unless he needed to.

Your characters ambitions: My character wants to get rid of all the bad people and he wants to buy a house and land for a shop and then sell his brand new book, 'An Orc's Tale' in the shop.

 

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? My character attempts to shout for help, but realises that nobody is around, and he knows what to do. He pulls out his recently-sharpened Iron Sword and a not-so-fancy stone sword. He throws the stone sword to the elf and he says the the Bandits "Run while you can, or we will hurt you." The bandits don't run, so my character charges at them with a sword and it goes into one of the bandits arm. The injured bandit decided that he can not fight with one arm, so runs away. The second bandit decided he could not fight 1 against 2, so runs away. My character then helps the elf get his stuff back and the elf thanks him with some bread.

 

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Well sir, I was just wondering if you would be interested in selling on my book, 'An Orc's tale'? Also can I have some bread for the wolf, he's a greedy one!

Everything was fine in your application. I would have told you to spice up your biography a bit, but I don't want you to go through the trouble of rewriting it (after waiting 48 hours), when it's "fine" as it is. It could have been better.

I hope you enjoy Aegis, but please keep the most interesting detail in mind when adventuring in LoTC or the LoTC forums.
