Th' Mining Guild!

Th' Mining Guild is the official dwarfen mining guild! The guild is run be run by a 'ead Miner (Diamond Rank) and by the. We are a group ov Miners that get ores ta the mighty nation of Kal'Urguan! We were founded by Darius Irongut when the new government system of King Thorik was established. Without us, Kal'Urguan would crumble (literally).

Rules

1. Ye must not be a member of the Smithin Guild.

2. Ye must not modify the guild house without permission from a Diamond rank or Gold rank Council Member.

3. Do not disrespect Diamond or Gold rank members.

4. ((It is preferable that you place your rank/ore in your RP name. For example, if your name is Skippy you would be GR_Miner_Skippy (GR standing for Gold Rank)))

Ranks

Te rise up in the ranks, show initiative. Refill and organize chests, bring in a lot of ore fer the guild, and 'elp out other members. Yer efforts will not go unrewarded. Ranks are organized by ore value, so diamond being the most valuable is reserved for the leader, gold is reserved for the level under that, and so forth.

Diamond: Basically th' 'ead of ta guild. No guild restrictions. Earns 50% of the guilds profits, which is used for outfitting the guild and for themself, but mostly fer the guild. A new guild leader must be chosen by the Miners Council and must be able te wield a diamond pickaxe. If no suitor is found, the Council will run the guild fer untill one is chosen.

Lapiz

Lapiz members are the guild masters. They controll the guild house within their city, mine, or outpost. They make up 1/3 of the miners council, except in the case of the guild headquarters (Which replaces the Lapiz rank member with a Diamond rank member).

Gold: Gold is a very gud rank! They have shown great honor to their kingdom, and 'ave been bringin' in all ta ores they can! Must be chosen by the Head Miner/Diamond Rank. They are each paid a portion of 50% of the guilds earnings.

• Miner's Council: 2 trustworthy Gold Rank members and 1 Lapiz rank member (Except at the guild headquarters, in which case the Lapiz rank member is replaced by the guild leader) are appointed te overseers the guild. They have access to the grand vault and may sell ores to others based off of pre-designated prices. 1/3 of the group is made up one Lapiz rank member except within the guild headquaters, which is

Iron: Iron is fresh out ov te Minin' School! These are basically full members. Be proud ta be Iron! Will recieve a private chest if asked fer.

Coal: Coal members are miners that are in-training and will get promoted ta Iron if they can show potential.

Stone: These members are te lowest ov ranks. They are new ta mining and can only wield a wooden pickaxe. We are hopin that we won't get mush ov these. Has no access to the chests. Will often not be accepted unless a strong appreciation fer minin is shown.

Other Jobs

Head Shef: Provides food fer the miners. Is paid on a weekly basis by the 'ead Miner.

Cave Scout: Scouts fer caves all across the lands fer fertile mines. Is

I wish to follow in my fathers foo'steps. 'E was a great miner, and I wish to be the same.

What can ye do that can contribute to th' clan:

I am a hard working dwarf, who will mine for days on end. I only stop upon my last pickax breaking, or when I smell some o' the delicious ale.

The guild was designated as official by the new charter of government created by High King Thorik Braveaxe and other members of the old government. Land has already been designated for construction by Thorik and the other members of the high council. I apologize if ye did not know about any of this, I just assumed ye did.

Why do ya want ta be a miner fer Kal'Urguan:

After his father learned him the art of building and minning oghren always wanted to add something to the world. by build huge houses or other buildings . a Part of this has been done, he has his own village just outside Kal'urguan, with an underground mine where he took most of the raw materials for most of his buildings. The only thing missing was the ability to return the favor ot the Kingdom.

What can ya do that can contribute to th' clan:Oghren is a skilled miner and builder(look at most of the building in Kal'sharock) he wanted to do something fer his kingdom. by building or minning. i have lead some one mand expaditions to the outer lands of aegis, where i got more knowlege of the soil of aegis, and of the indications where rare materials might be.
