Dissapointment

Well Im very disappointed for our race as a whole and people who are in it.

With all of you who are becomming dark elves and stuff good luck cause your all bagwagoners. You all join and created things with in the dwarven governemtn just to leave them to be something else. This is why I never join guilds. I dont mind that you all want to be something else or think its cool to be a dark elf i dont really care anymore. I have grudges now and trust everyone less cause how can I trust that people who run our government wont just go "Oh hey they are having fun over there Im going to switch races" If that happened nothing good would come from it.

I have had my character from the beguininng. I havnt changed him all that much.I stayed ascended for a long a$$ time and quit for an rp reason. I only run my clan as its fun and I get to talk and hang out with lot of people.

Now..... nothing personal but to people who have changed the dwarven government only to leave it after 2 months... *highfive... thanks now the rest of us have to run the crappy system and deal with all the crap you leave behind.

Yes this is a rant that has been building up for a long time now and I hate to see people leave as I get to trust them for only for them to just quit and leave or do somehting else.

I will always be dwarf and e proud and try to promote my race for the better..

Agreed 100%. I left humans before alk being destroyed to pursue rp with some other dwarf friends But now i no longer go into Kal Urgian bc i am embarresed to be a dwarf IC.

Emberassed.. really now, we just formed a coalition after the Ascended failed to do so, we have the Elves, Humans, Orcs, and the Teutonic Order on our side, it couldn't have gone any better for us really.

Alras got what came for them, i just gave it a little push in the right direction, and please specify what you exactly mean with "internal conflicts" because to me everything seems fine.

The number is much smaller then you might think, around three people are leaving to become Dark Elves, including myself.

Three people are leaving to become Dark Elves and that has nothing to do with our feelings towards Dwarves, it's just that we want a new roleplay experience. It's also not a case of just jumping on the bandwagon because this is actually going to be a new roleplay experience for 2.0, one that does not exist on the current map. I've never just gone away to be a villain like some Dwarves have, it's just that I feel I've been at this position for long enough, don't want to get any higher and want to do something new. Before we even considered becoming Dark Elves, a number of people said that they were leaving the Dwarves to become villains on the new map and yet, they never got accused of abandoning anyone.

You claim that we're leaving things in a bad state which really isn't true. As Goldrim said, it was the Dwarves that started the coalition after the Ascended failed to use the UAC properly so we're actually in a pretty good position at the moment. If you really dislike the current system, nothing's stopping anybody from changing it. I already get enough people asking if they can have higher positions so hopefully when we've left, this'll open the door for different people to take positions in the government.

Remember, Luchian is still going to be King and there is already plenty of lore being prepared for the next map that will make the Dwarves far more interesting to roleplay as. I fail to see why you'd be embarrassed to be a Dwarf, considering most of us are pretty respected right now.

Logan your embarrassed in character because you oocly know that three people are becoming dark elfs? That does not make sense... And as many people that are leaving who says there won't be any new people becoming dwarves in the new map? You basically are embarrassed in character to be a dwarf for out of character reasons... does not make any sense to me.

And Valen is right the government system we have now is a lot better than the old one and Valen is the only one leaving who helped create the system. The Dwarves right now are probably the strongest nation as of military strength and have a great connection. My only complaint is recently I have seen very little role-play in Kal'Urguan, maybe because most people are waiting for the new map.

The new map is going to be awesome and there will be plenty of dwarves to role play with. From what I have heard the dwarves have the best city in the new map :).
