Dissapointment

Its just disappointing to me when I start to like a lot of people and think our race will be pretty epic come 2.0 but .... ugh its hard to explain cause I want the best for us all and to be the best. We need all of our great people to stay. I have seen too much OOC chat and we do have the most active TS group but that stops alot of ICly rp. I barely do it with my clan and its fun but bad at the same time.

If you guys want a new rp experience go for it its your choice and I hope its fun for you all.

I do not quite know what I want to do in the new world >_< but there is a lot of pressure coming from quite a few sources in lotc D:

I wish to become a dark elf because I have a bit of a grudge against Thorik for raising my hopes at becoming king again only to at one point stab me in the back T_T I don't quite hate him for it cause I know his concerns about how I have been yelling at him continuously to get on the build server and bloody work! As I have been building for more than 6+ hours a day...

All in all it's to get out of the whole thing I find a disaster :/ I would like to pursue more independent roleplay that I don't have to be too active to do. I might not even become a dark elf!

((Not gonna take anyone's side here, but I hope that no matter what comes of this that the feelings are not spread to all Dark Elf players. I've personally played a dark elf since there was barely enough to count them all on two hands. And it would be really lousy to be called a bandwagoner or be thought of less of an RPer because of it. I know thats not probably what you mean Hiebe in your initial post, but there's some strong wording there and others may jump in on it and brand us all, which wouldn't be right.))

Tons of people are switching to Dark Elves and like i said before, i don't know how much fun it will be with all those people joining in. I'm deciding whether or not to switch. I'm not switching to elf due to the large numbers unless with good reason. Not sure what to do at this point, seeing some of my friends switch over simply because of others and possibly leaked information. (Why else would there be such a rush?)

I don't entirely understand why you're "disappointed" in others for not enjoying the same things you enjoy. I enjoy playing an Orc, but if someone switches from Orc to Elf, or Dwarf, or Human, I don't mind that they didn't enjoy Orc RP.

I suggest you embrace the potentially excellent RP you can get from fixing this "flawed" political system, instead of resenting those who are trying to find fun in a game.

The thing is Hiebe, a lot of people have gone off to do other things RP wise in the past and nobody has really cared. Why are we any different?

As for the political system, it seemsed to work but if you do still have problems with it, it's always open to improvements.

*sighs* I'm not leaving because I don't like dwarves or the government, I love them! I've been thinking about doing this for a LONG time, way before I knew anyone else was going dark elf (its been in my mind off and on for 5 months. No bandwagon here). The only reason I did this is because I am tired of my character. Its honestly EXTREMELY boring being a "good guy" all the time. I was planning on waiting to make the switch until 2.0 but did it a bit early so by the new world I would be used to it. Sorry to make you so POed Hiebe but, I got bored with my character, and this is a game, I want to enjoy it.

I was always thinking about doing it, I had never really decided. But to be on the safe side if I did decide I wanted to have atleast 2 weeks of planning so that I would not leave the dwarves in chaos. And I really dont wanna go and talk about the build server as we both has been a bit to inactive. Lately you have been working yes, But for 2 weeks your project stood still.

But I would rather not go into a discussion about it.

Personally, I feel people shouldn't be chastised for trying to pursue RP that interests them.
