There is already plans underway. But as a failsafe, I've personally relocated outside Laurelin and ready to move again if the situation gets worse. I suggest anyone living in Laurelin do the same. If you feel safer in Kal'Urgan, I'm sure their King will welcome you as a guest. We have a good relation with Kal'Urgan last I heard.

I heard but it wouldn't work, getting the tears isn't a problem when they send the Ghasts our way, but as mortals we cannot survive for more than a day in the Nether. None of us have ever managed to go in and come out alive black magic is rife in there. We must seal the undead in their realm or flee ashore.

I would love to be involved with these plans. Is there any way I could help? I am a talented alchemist. ((we can continue this through pms if it goes anywhere))

Who needs more than a day? I am confident in whatever plans that are under way. If we can strike quickly and forcefully, it will take no more than a day. And remember this: the minions can't survive in the Nether either.

You forget that it is more than likely they have a large fortress to repel us. Without warmachines we will never penetrate the obsidian they so freely have access to. We would end up in a siege, and they can last for months on end.

Why would they have a fortress in a place where mortals, the only things that oppose them, die in a day? The undead are not stupid, they know not to squander their resources where they are not needed.

This is true but who knows their numbers? What if Iblees himself joins the battle? We can't defeat a God not with weapons nor with magic, the Ascended will be powerless in such a hellish realm. Their powers will dwindle until death.

Will Iblees in his complete form be there to assist them? I sincerely doubt it. If I understand correctly, his power has dwindled during his imprisonment, hence his need for helpers, the undead. We will have magic, assuming the mages will do their duty to keep balance. Again, they're numbers are no issue due to the fact that their minions are mortal, so they cannot survive in the Nether.

I still think the risks are too great, many people will die and we could fail dooming the children and the infirm to death or worse.

Even if the battle is lost, we will weaken the undead to a point that they will not be able to harm whoever is left until we can rebuild. I've thought this out quite well. Any other points you'd like to raise?

Every strong and able man will be required to take up arms and fight. If we lose we lose all our builders, smiths, carpenters and warriors. How will the few survivors live?

Not neccessarily. If we continue to do our idiotic rushing tactics, then yes. What we need to do is gather the most disciplined warriors to form an elite battle group, instead of a large idiotic group, where we merely run at the undead with no ranks nor structure.

The Miasma has been controlled as well as the taint. I am actually surprised by this. I had faith in the ability of those involved to contain the situation, but I underestimated the efficiency... it was done much quicker then I expected.

I apologize for any concern I have caused... I think my precautions were performed too hastily.
