Lirinya 4035 Share Posted January 26, 2012 *Attached to every door in the city is a note, written in bold script the words 'VITAL CHANGES TO OUR CITY' The rest of the note reads:* Citizens. As some of you have noticed, the city is in need or a major re design. We have built around our trees in haste, in such, destroyed their simplicity and beauty. On speaking with my brother we have come to an agreement or a rough design. The homes will be much like old Laurelin. Whilst our trees are significantly shorter than those we once lived in, If our homes are built within the safety of the branches and leaves, we can utilise the trunks to create bridges which link our homes together, without the need to roam on the grounds. I feel as though we have defiled our surrounding nature. The floor lay stripped of grass and trees as we use it, instead to travel on. This is what we intend to do. Homes need to be re-modelled within the leaves or higher up in the tree tops. We can then start to build platforms and bridges which link us together, to create walkways. So when creating your home, do not extend much lower than the lowest leaf. Each trunk will house its own ladder so you are able to, if needs be, gain access to your home via the ground. Stairs, ramps or external buildings/creations will need to be removed. Either by the owner or by builder, whom we will require. Prior notice will be given however. [sign posts will be left outside, as well as contacting you via /tell if possible] A small handful, i.e one or two trees will have ramps left on. This will be for simple communal access to the platforms/bridges. These will also be decided by Haelphon. Main points: NO TREETOP FARMS. This is major point. I have seen several and they will be removed without prior warning. If you wish for your own farm, we can devise an area in which we will set aside for citizens who wish to have their own small plot. NO WALLS. There are some large scale walls that have been created to surround homes. These will have to go. NO RAMPS. Balconies are allowed as long as they cannot be seen from the ground [planks not showing] We will be in need of a mass amount of supplies, so if you have any wood to offer, we will put it to good use. Please be swift in making vital changes to your homes before we do [when we get to your house, We will PM you on the forums or via /tell. It is known that the homes that we currently live in will be undergoing changes very soon. However, it seems that some of my belongings are missing due to the "tidying" up of the homes. The only thing of importance and my craft has been stolen from my house as well as some other items from my chests.
