to Nelecar

If we areintellectual superior to other races we need to show that, we need to understand that we only need to make laws against other races if they deserve so.

To Nelecar,

I wish not to imply righteousness in myself. I wish to have no implications, but merely to state that outright bigotry as such has been seen is simply idiotic.

I will keep my response to you abrupt and plain, and have it concern merely your diction of superiority.

Be the fool, he who claims his self great. Wise needs only to demonstrate.

To Aurea,

Concerning the quote above, you indeed shine again, and are proper in saying that as a High Elf, it should be proven that you are superior, rather than stated in blind racism.

The actions of this are inappropriate. If the High Elves; who have lived in Malinor for so long peacefully with other races, feel the need to discriminate against brethren, that is truly shameful. As Wood Elves and Dark Elves, we stand tall to ensure all are included amongst our worlds. If you cut a Dark Elf, a Mori, A Wood Elf, and a High Elf open, they are all the same inside. Where does it stand to say one is proud to be a "High Elf" or a "Wood Elf" for that matter? Who gives a damn about different skills. The Wood Elves are far better archers and the High Elves are far more advanced in the art of education. What is there to gain by refusing to interact with those who have lived with us for thousands of years? What in Malin's name makes us any different from each other? Answer that, any elf. I seek to realize how one who was once in the Malinor council and promoted anti-prejudice movements is now a racist because they have a few meager ruins. Answer that, Ebs and the rest of the High Elf Council! How can you beseech to seclude yourself from the very place Prince Ashur found, and generously left untouched for you all? I assume now in your eyes, that racial inequality proves how "astonishing" ones' nation is.

Answer me that one question: How could we coincide for thousands of years perfectly, then shatter within a few months?

The High Elves are always welcome in the forests all Elves share.

Dearest High Prince, your response should be a topic all its own. It is beyond the thought I put forth into my original (and quite wrong (forgive me, I was trying to get the ball rolling, and seemed to succeed)) posting here, and it has words that deserve be be read on their own.

I stand with you in that entire posting. And to any who would make mean of the kind words above, he was not in any way being discriminatory, just stating what he has seen.

Thank you, High Prince Haelphon.

I do not understand such Racism... Who cares if we are Wood elf, High elf, Dark elf, or even Mori! We are all elven, and That's that.

The simple fact of the matter is that Haelun'or is NOT part of Malinor. Their customs are not under our jurisdiction, and they may impose any such customs as they see fit.

When they come to visit Malinor they will conduct themselves as guests. They have done so thus far from what I can tell. What they say to you in their own city is their business and not of ours.

It is not our strengths that make us superior, but rather your weakness.

I do not argue with half-breeds.

You are correct, and I thank you for taking the viewpoint you have. Mali'aheral when not in their native lands are obligated to act politely and pleasantly - this is dictated by an unwritten code of conduct. On our lands, however, we are not, and we are free to discriminate as we see fit.

The bottom line is similar to what my colleague Artaeum mentioned - the fact that some citizens of Malinor actually feel the need to protest what we do on our own lands makes you no better than the 'racists' you are crusading against.

'Malythil' - I do not argue with half-breeds.

Oh? I find that lovely how it ruins me as a being to be two races. If anything, it adds charisma to everyone one of our well-beings.

What makes me less fit to supposedly "live" than you? I see no shame in being Half Elf and Half Human! My parents loved me as much as any parents would love their child. I am not the one disgraced. You now seem to be the one who is.

((OOCly, when did Haelun'or secede from Malinor, because technically, it is on the lands of Malinor, seen here (click me!)

So shouldn't there have been a war or some post about them seceding? Just wondering))

You know what's rather ironic, I'm half Wood elf and half of your 'superior' high elves. I prefer to stick to my wood elf root, yes I love my mother very much, but I refuse to be any part of your racist, self centered, hating biggards.

(that is the land of the elves who said that is Malinor? As there are three nations or city states on that land, Mori, Malinor and the High elfs)

((There has been no official detachment from Haelun'or from Malinor, however IC I wouldn't call us exactly ruled by Malinor. Its a complex and confusing issue.

To clarify being as your 'father' was a Wood Elf you would have no choice but to live with your Wood Elven brothers.

(I'd also like to add that elves are not humans. They don't have petty civil wars and the like. When humans change Kings, they go to civil unrest and the crown changes hands 2-3 times. When Malinor changes high prince however, they celebrate for 2-3 days instead.

And Num is correct, there are three elven nations.)

(My character recognizes it, but not sure about the rest of the council... hmm will have to see.)
