What SPECIFIC evils does your character plan on committing? Please list the number of each Evil you would like to be considered for, and specifically when/why you need them:

1: He needs a way to gather supplies, and money. A lie or two also helps make sure that no one makes him wanted dead, you can make a mark on the world but you should try to avoid making it want you dead.

2a: He will need a way to enforce the god's will.

Biography (Between 2-5 paragraphs. No walls of text, please):

He was born in a tiny village south of Alk'hazar, his name was Rano Torch. His mother was a priest she told him that a sin is something that all people will pay for in one way or another if they do them and everyone will do them at some point; she also told him it is a person duty to make sure that people around them at least try to avoid falling into sin. When his mother was busy he would speak to his father who was a watchman. His father was the type of person who loved to punish people, whenever Rano was out of line he would make sure one good strike would push him back in. Rano’s father also told him one thing that stuck with Rano “some people do the same thing every day of their life, they call bandits insane? They call gamblers too risky? They call themselves normal? Being normal is an excuse people use when they are too scared to do something with their life that will make them remembered!” Rano was taught to fight by his father, no matter how much his mother hated it he was pretty good, well at least as good as the other kids in town.

He joined the watchmen when he was 17, they gave him the ideas of how to do some basic fighting with bows and swords, they also told him how to cook some things like pork, and steak. He had his first kill when a bandit broke into a nearby home and was attacking a small family. He ran up behind the bandit and stabbed him in the back, when he saw the bandit’s face he could not help but let out a slight laugh, the bandit seemed so shocked, and the sword it just slid into his flesh so well it was like it was meant to happen.

Two months after his first kill his father was arrested, charged with murder, it turned out that he had gone out one night and got himself drunk and got in a fight with a drifter, he ended up drawing his sword after the drifter insulted him. The last thing his father yelled as they pulled him off the prison was “Don’t die a no-body make people remember you boy it does not matter how just do not allow yourself to be forgotten!” His father died 1 week after being arrested; the guards would not turn over his body stating "A killer does not deserve a burial."

Rano tried to do just that, but it is hard to make a name for yourself in a tiny town as a simple watchman, so he fell into the darker side of town. The people he met in the dark side of town said if he did as they said he would never be forgotten that is, as long as he will do anything to make sure the job gets done. Over the next couple of weeks he worked with them doing minor crimes like theft and muggings. Then one day they told him to do another basic theft from a house on the rim of town. When he got to the house he did the basic check in the windows to see if anyone was home, it did not look like it but when he got inside and started the job a man with an axe walked in and let out a string of curses before attacking.

Rano fought back and before he knew what he was doing he had put the blade of his sword into the neck of the man. The man looked terrified as the blood flew out of his neck but it took just a few seconds for him to bleed out. Rano was horrified at what he did but he felt something, pride. His mother told him all people must pay for their sins and Rano had made this man done so, but he did stop him from ever making his mark on the world. Rano decided this man at least should get a chance to make a mark in some way, so Rano took his first name as his own so he may allow the man some honour after paying for his crime. Rano was now named Kanoro, Kanoro Torch.

On his way home the guards spotted him, they knew him said hello and went on but one must have seen the bloody dripping from his shirt where he dried the sword and they tried to arrest him. Kanoro ran, it was all he could do run home. He lost them on the way but he knew he had to leave so he went home gathered what he could and said good bye to his mother, she told him to be careful and to remember: “Everyone will do a sin, do not feel too guilty because you do as well.”

Kanoro left, if search of a new home, wish him luck.

Question Section - Answer with as much detail as necessary

Why does your character do what he/she does? What are his/her motives?

He only really has two motives, one is to enjoy life and use his to the fullest, the other is to make his mark on the entire land before he dies, he wants people to remember what he did when the high princes of elves are dead and forgotten, but otherwise he considers himself as a worker of god.

What moral boundaries does your character adhere to, if any?

He would not kill a child as that would just be unholy, He also would not just cut someone down in the street as he is smart enough to know the guards would swarm him in seconds. Lastly, he will not kill a friend he is not cruel.

What are some notable strengths and weaknesses of your character? What might cause him/her to falter? Include things such as temptations, addictions, physical handicaps, etc.

He suffers from the same temptations as any other human, lust for one, greed, also he loves to get drunk, He also is blind in one of his eyes which leads to him not being as good with a bow as other people, not as good a warrior as he could be Etc. Lastly, in order to stop himself from random murder he will cut somewhere on his body once for each kill he makes; also he does have anger issues.

He is strong in ways like he is street smart, he also has some combat training with the sword and the bow. He also has a very high pain tolerance and show little mercy when he intends to kill someone that is not a friend. Lastly, he is pretty good at talking his way out of trouble.

What role will your character play in Aegis? What separates them and makes them unique and original among villains?

If I am accepted He will play a villain that will make himself known in any way he can and one of the ways is acting a warrior of god.

Is your character loyal or a backstabber? Does he/she trust others in return?

If someone proves to be worthy of his trust he will trust them with his life, so I will play him as loyal and Semi-trusting.

Why do you as a player wish to and deserve to play a villain?

I would like to play as a villain because I feel it opens up a lot more RP chances for me and others I know. I think is deserve to play as a villain because I have been a member of the server since launch and I have put time into it, but I guess it really comes down to if you think I deserve to play as a villain.

Open Response - Answer at least four out of five listed. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else illegal or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations:

A middle aged man, a young wife, and a small male child are walking down the King’s Road together. The woman walks with a long staff, and the man appears to have a scabbard at his side.

Kanoro walks up to the couple and chats with them about things, such as how they are, if they have seen anyone doing “Evil” things like that, then when we are done talking I would try to hug them, which if they will let me then perhaps take a few minas to support my cause. If they did not let me hug them not a big deal just move on.

You hear knocking on your door and go to answer. It turns out to be an angry looking woman with a large human behind her. She is telling you that you owe taxes to King ___ and must pay within the fortday.

Kanoro goes to the door and asks them why they have come, when they tell him he would responds, yes how could I have forgotten? Then he would toss the coins towards them and close the door. No use to start an unneeded fight on the street in the middle of the day that would just get me thrown in jail.

Sitting in Dawn’s Bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a man robed in black and a Warden. The man is revealing Undead plans to a Warden. You can’t tell if the man in black is betraying the Undead, or if it is vice-versa.

Kanoro would try to sneak up stairs and listen in, if he can hear anything from a safe distance perfect, if he cannot then it is not worth the risks of being spotted spying on them.

Two Guards tries to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Goblins. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Goblins to unsheathe their arms.

When the people are drawing their weapons I would take the time to take advantage of the human and goblin’s basic impulse and throw a large sum of minas at the ground and run, it is likely they will pick up the minas and leave us alone as we escape, then when I and my friend escape he is punished for being reckless.

As you turn the corner into a dimly lit alley, a pair of young female Halflings instantly run up to you. They are begging for a donation of either minas or food.

As a warrior of god when Kanoro sees two young people left to rot in the alleys he feels he must help them, so Kanoro gives the two Halflings 100 to 500 minas depend on what he has and gives them some food telling them to be careful with the minas and spend it wisely. Kanoro is happy to help people who need it.

PS: I do not want to be one of those villains who walks up robs people and walks off with their minas from some stupid one-liner, I am not saying all villains do this but it seems to be what a lot of people think. Also if I ever did become one I would be happy to revoke my own villain app as it ruins rp when people get greedy. All around I hope to be a good Anti-hero that makes rp not just minas.

Thank you for reading, have a nice day.

Denied-

Evils and base are weak.

You constantly state that your character is a fighter of god, yet you explain very little about the virtues or demands of your god. Aside from this your character is "a fighter of god", that punishes does who sin, yet your character is a killer, and thief.
