The First Mali'aheral Legion

Long ago, before even the mori'quessir, the blessed race of the mali'aheral had an empire which spanned a significant portion of Asulon. They were a race of pale-skinned scholars with the top priority of maintaining their way of life throughout the centuries.

And then they disappeared, the only traces of their existance the remnants of the college of Haelun'or.

Now, their descendants have returned to their rightful place in Haelun'or - and an organization needs to be formed to uphold the traditions of their forefathers.

This organization is known as the First Mali'aheral Legion, and it serves as both a defensive and offensive military, being the protector and enforcer of tradition.

Hierarchy

The Okarir'sil (Master of Military) is a member of the Silver Council and has absolute authority regarding the military. He controls it, and obedience is expected from the rest of the Legion.

Current Okarir'sil: Nelecar

The Legate is the second in command. He answers to nobody but the Okarir'sil, and while the Okarir'sil deals with the political aspects of the military, he deals with the more practical ones.

The Auxilary is a rank below that. He serves as a recruitment officer and answers to the Legate and the Okarir'sil.

The Captains control small parties of two or so. They have more authority than the average soldier but aside from that they are similar.

Roles and Identification

There are three roles in the mali'aheral legion - each one has a uniform assigned to them. Note: The Okarir'sil and the Legate are exempt from wearing uniforms. The auxilary and the captains have specially modified uniforms.

Justiciar is the first role, and it serves as that of a swordsman. Using efficient swordplay and agile moves, they take down the enemy from up close and are the shock troops.

Ranger is the second role and it's your average archer/scout role. The ranger needs to be stealthy, quiet, and good with a bow. They usually go on recon and scouting missions.

Uniform: WIP.

Inquisitor is the third role - and it is that of the battlemage. An inquisitor's speciality can vary from healing magics to offensive magics, but they serve as the infiltrators and agents and they rain down fire or healing from above. They are effective but unfortunately fragile. Note: You need to have proof of magical training to become an inquisitor.

Ev notices what appears to be a new message on the notice board, on his way back from the mage's guild to collect some of his supplies.

"What's this?" he murmurs in response to the list of jobs available in the legion.

"Sounds like I would make a fair Inquisitor. I've been looking for one more way to give back to Haelun'or, and it looks like this is my chance."

Ev secures a neatly written note to the foot of his dove, and sends it off to Octavius, asking to be considered for the role.

it have come to my attention that our stocks are going down so to keep track of what we have and what we need you are to report what you take before you take it only in the case of an emergency are you allowed to report it in afterwards reports are to be given in person or by letter. ((pm on the forum)) if you are caught taking stuff without reporting it you will be punished with force labor.

Ker wanders into the magnificent city, stumbling and sick of the pathetic insolence of his excuses for Dark Elven brethren. He has come here in search of Someone who could possibly understand what he's feeling.

He wanders past the message board, and almost misses it, but the flag stands out bright and catches the corner of his eye. Sighing, he takes a few steps closer. As he reads, the words spark his curiosity

"These people seem to be intelligent... maybe they know how to be act properly..."

He reads on, and decides he might as well give them a chance, this ancient order sounds like it is finally a light, amongst the darkness that the Elves he has seen have fallen into. He sets off to find them...

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Those who are in the legion will now be able to settle themselves in their own bunk at the base. You will be provided with a footlocker in which you can store your Legion-issued belongings, as well as a double chest for storing your own.

Legionnaires are recommended to contact Talias or Ellir'siol to speed up the assigning of beds.
