VILLAGE CHARTER

MC Name: wardog4445

RP Name: Liam Frostbeard

Village Name: New Jornheim

Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose?

Long ago in old Aegis the town of the Frostbeards was called Jornheim. I wish to make a sanctuary for all Frostbeards within the mountains near Alras. The Frostbeards' views have become further and further away from Karik's. We wish to go to the snow capped mountains and reside in what would be somewhat seclusion.

After talks with the Alrasian king, Syrio, our clan has decided that it would be within our best interest to organize a village that would act as a shield between Alras and potential threats in the north. In exchange we would have an alliance with Alras, trade access, and military aid should an attack prove too harsh for the mountainous walls of our homes.

What type of political system or leadership is within the village?

A traditional patriarchal society. I am the clanleader at the moment so I will run the village. We will be an orthodox dwarven clan. Everyone is equal and is expected to be treated equally. The only difference is that I represent the clan in diplomatic situations as well as military operations.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Predominantly dwarven of course, we would exhibit harsh caution to any other races that venture near our mountains. We are loyal to Alras and should the dwarves in Karik have a righteous and honorable fight, we will assist. Orcs, being so close to our village, will be treated somewhat more cautiously than other races due to the risk of an incident inciting war. We will think twice before deciding whether they are threats to us or not.

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

The mountains just past the Alrasian borders. We will be etched into the mountain so a traditional square plot may prove to be inadequate as we'll be building along the mountainside.[[Location screenshots below]]

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

Any smooth stone material, stone, bricks, etc. No cobble, Frostbeard colors (blue/white wool, along with lapis, ice and snow.) Gates will be made of iron. Only one entrance that will be heavily fortified (but not impossible to penetrate of course) and homes protruding from the mountains, completely closed off from the outside. (schematics down below)

Players who have agreed to sign this charter (5 name minimum):

Gorum Frostbeard (darkling7788)

Moruk Frostbeard (Payed_Legend)

Bili Frostbeard ( benny508 )

K'orr Frostbeard ((xToXiicz))

Awren Frostbeard (Briton1)

Drikk Frostbeard (charliescott123)

Malary Frostbeard (darkjames)

Lord Arbrek Starbreaker (visitor) (MC name unknown)

(sidenote) I know other Frostbeards are interested I just don't have their full consent, confirming they are interested. Gorum has three children who will accompany him and Awren for example.

Demo Schematics:

A general idea of what the village would look like from afar, shrunk down due to size of the mountain I found:

This is a small scale of the village I made in creative mode. It will without a doubt be bigger and better in Lord of the Craft due to manpower and population.
