A Druid's Prayer

Arik stands in front of his tree, looking at the ever expanding area of the Swamp of Song, and frowns deeply to himself. Their recent acquisition by the Mori had come swiftly and he'd had little choice but to concede to their borders, lest lose the close connection to the Aspects he felt here.

His mind trails back to Mogroka and his offer, and he wonders to himself, How can I make this work? If they found out they would surely burn this place to the ground.

Sighs, and raises both his arms up, his staff lifted, and begins channeling his connection to the Aspects, summoning Ancient Druidic art to fuel his prayer. As he begins to sing, plants blossom around him at an accelerated rate, and vines entwine his legs, moving slowly up his body as if caressing him and listening to his song:

Blessed Aspects,

Hear my cry

Guard this land so

It may never die

This, shall be my prayer.

There, is much to do here.

Lift our eyes to what's near,

And protect what we hold dear.

Blessed Aspects...

Slowly trails off in song, and shakes the vegetation off of him, slowly plotting in his mind.

Jameson feels a sort of pulse hit him. He whispers to himself ,"I...I have not felt that in a very long time." He knows what is being done. He too stands where he is, raises his arms, closes his eyes, and listens to the song being sung. After the song ends, he sets off in search of Arik. [[Arik, that song, Id like you to put it in a book, and try to get more upper ranking druids to know of it, if they do not see this post. Very very nice by the way.]]

(This is unbelievable. I LOVE IT. My only complaint is that it's too short.)

Arch Druid Ouity's head slowly rises as the haunting music flows through him. His staff in one hand, he winds his way through the woods, the music still echoing through his head.
