Village Charter

MC Name:Sir_Wyvernos

RP Name:Elysande Wymrick

Town Name: Eclimaron

Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose?

This town is to start the growth of knowledge in the world. In this town there will be an extensive library, observatory and of course housing. This town will also be an area for members of the Arcane Chronicle. Access to the town will be free to the public for everyones use. The town will be a center for knowledge and general enlightenment.

What type of political system is within this village? The village is lead by a council of seven members that also run the Arcane Chronicle. The elders of the council have equal power and can be voted into or removed from power by members of the village.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.) Eclimaron is just as the Arcane Chronilce, they accept all races. Though this is true, Nations must prove their worth to receive assistance of the town. Primarily, it is based on their use of knowledge in the world.

Where would you prefer the village’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map). x 594 z -1439

Lore:

Eclimaron is an island that sits along the path of the eclipse of the sun an moon. It is named after the reunion of the sun and moon during the eclipse. The natives of the land left many tales of what they called the tale of two lovers. I will do my best to tell it how it as they did. Elysande takes a deep breathe and stares off into the sun as he begins.

In the early age of the sons and daughters of Malin, two very wealthy children were born. The Sun rose over the edge of the sky with a burst of warmth and life. Light began to shine through the windows of the home. Silence and serenity walked amidst the halls and corridors. Something beautiful had been brought forth. At the dawn the first was born, a boy of a noble family. He had hair as red as fire and golden skin such as the high elves. His eyes seemed to almost glow a rich orange with flicks of yellow. From the very day he felt the touch of the sun, he reached out to it. His parents took note of his wonder and named him Sol'Dami or son of the Sun.

Later in the day, when many set to their beds and lay dreaming of the coming day, a young elven women waited anxiously to bear a child. The moon seemed to hang low as if sitting atop of the mare. All was calm and chirps were heard throughout the peaceful air. It was time, a new babe was to be brought into the world. An elven baby was born to the delightful elven maiden of a noble family. At the very moment of her birth, the baby gazed out upon the warm full moon. Immediately the young mother knew she had the blessing of the moon. For this reason, the baby girl was named Lun'Amara, or night mother.

The two babes grew wise in the ways of their people. Sol'Dami was going to be the youngest elf teen to be granted the chance to live with the sages and dawn their title in the times to come, but news began to flutter on the tongues of the people, "another", who was this? Another, another would set as a sage one day as well? Who, but who.

The sages called forward the young lad. He was strong for a high elf and wise beyond his years. He showed great promise, but he had yet to be fulfilled. A robed figure of slightly shorter stature walked to his side. "This, was this another who hath been called forth". Sol'Dami stood straighter to seem greater, but the figure didn't move.

It was thin, elegant truthfully. Not like one he had seen before. With a tilt of it's head, it pulled it's hood back revealing the face of a dark elf maiden. She was beautiful, but he had not a word to say. She flicked her eyes toward him for an unnoticeable moment. She turned red through her dark complection.

"What art thy names?" Lu- Sol- ... There voices chopped into each other yet it was the sound that calls forth joy. It sounded out as the harmonious bells of the festivals. "Sol'Dami and Lun'Amara is it?" The two nodded immediately. "Very well then, follow me."

The two followed into the temple and after ten years they returned much more mature mentally and physically. Sol'Dami was a tall strapping elven adult and Lun'Amara was beautiful elven goddess. Their time together had drawn their hearts together. Sages were not permitted to love the other sages as it would become a distraction.

They kept their growing love hidden. Little notes left in tree hollows and cracks in the walls sufficed for some time but they wished to be one in harmony. The sages halted their attempts and motivations. Ten years passed and through many moments of planning it was time.

Again they were let out into the public and on that warm summer day they fled from the area and headed to be wed. They were wed and vowed to always be united through all means. The sages were outraged and cast them into the sky. They were forced to dwell in the sky apart from each other. They dwelled with the lights of the sky but the sages felt that they should be allowed to unite because of their vows. The sages allowed them to keep their vows.

On the anniversary of the day they made their vows they were allowed to unite as one creating the eclipse. The ring of light, life, and devotion that they were proud to bear stands in the sky as a symbol of their vows and love. Eclimaron, the symbol of the union of light and dark.

I support and sign. Wyvernos is one of the few people I actually believe should have a town charter and deserve one.
