I think most of the world uses the 24 hour clock. Your problem is that one part of the world, that refuses to do anything like the rest. We will however still be having an event tonight Not quite sure how people think the event has already happened? Its in an hour and a half's time EDIT: News feed indicates the map shrinking is occurring today. Doesn't say anything about the island moving but I would assume it would occur at the same time.
