Build An Elevator In The Elder Tree?

I am now running the Normandor Library which is located very near the top of the elder tree. (The one with the green walls)

It takes me ages to make it to the top and I am sure others would have the same problem.

So I was wondering if an elevator could be constructed to go to all the different levels.

No elevator for the Elder tree. Its a big tree. Its suppose to take time to get up there. Its for defenses too.

((Although Pistons are technically part of LoTC, the farthest I've seen "Master Engineers" go with them is moving one or two blocks. I haven't seen hidden staircases, piston doors, or elevators. I have seen one man who used them for closing an iron bar gate; However he RP'd that the bars fell down rather than pushed by pistons.

So I'd just generally assume that despite Pistons having their Roleplaying advantages and being accepted to a degree in the realm, such things as Elevators are too far 'advanced' for a 'primitive' civilization like Asulon. Asulon is roughly similar to the Middle Ages in what they have at their disposal, to a degree. So think to that if you have issues with something and want a radical advancement.

I've always RPed it as some kind or rope hoist, with pulley and belts and stuff.
