I just want to say guys - I think people may be getting a little pedantic. I know I said that I wanted the general quality of apps increased, but this does not necessarily mean to the point where we're denying people for the smallest little things. If the overall app is of a high quality but there is a small error then tell them that they are accepted once they sort said error. There's no need to deny them over it. Or for example if (and I use this example as its still freshest in my mind) the personality is like a bio... well, if the rest of the app is really good (which said app was) then its not an issue, accept it. Tell them how they could improve, but really, people are beginning to feel it very unfair.

One comment that was raised was that those accepting the apps are accusing other peoples' apps of being too short when their own were shorter. This seems a little... unfair. I'm not taking the masses side, I'm trying to strike a balance between what's fair for everyone and what will help us maintain a relatively high standard. We're not only looking for the very best rpers, we're just trying to weed out the worst

I apologise is I or any other KAT have been harsh, we don't deny the apps straight out and destroy their chances of being accepted instantly, we give points to improve on so they get a better understanding of what they are applying for. If I see mistakes I deny the app, when they fix them, I accept it. I would of thought this works better then just accepting an app with flaws in it, the denial is merely helping them, and preparing them for what is to come as a Kharajyr.

However I will take in what you have said while reading future apps.

Also, if they are complaining about us denying it..Well...I always give the reasons why. If they work on it, and don't rush through it, trying to repost as quick as possible. I will accept after.

I also just "Deny" and tell them to fix it, like VonEbs, who did a good app, but who just needs a couple fixes. When done, I'l accept him.

In my opinion with the applications we ARE becoming a non-villainous version of the Mori. Only accepting the BEST rp'ers and being VERY strict on apps? But what for? What about people who are not good at making backgrounds, what about those people who are not good lore writers? And I have been seeing denial for the most simplest mistakes! If you think about it were every single KAT member's bio long and had a bunch of awesomeness in it. Looking through the apps of the KAT team yes they are very lengthy but I'm sure there are flaws in it! There is a flaw in every app, no one can have a perfect one. And what the KAT are doing is denying for the simplest of flaws! How does this make the new Kharajyr's experience into the race fun? When they get denied for the most simplest of things? I have really been enraged over the past few days on what's going on with the KAT team. Its just not fair on those who are applying when they are getting denied by people for things those said people could have done. Now in the case sprintindwarf did alot of bad rp and powergaming but why say, "you broke a few rules so you are banned from ever becoming a kharajyr, even if you become a much better rp'er in the future you are still banned" You would not like it? So lets just think instead of being faceless, cruel people behind a computer screen, lets be more a more open and accepting community of friends?

As stated above you, in the case of a small error, I deny-until you change- then I'l accept.

As for being cruel faceless people, I find that a bit unfair. We are doing the job, and while we are strict, we are not being cruel. EACH of us posts reasons, and tips, I personaly try to act nice, and not discourage them either. I believe they can all manage it, but when I see a two line open question, I see a lack of work put into it.

While I find your post a bit unfair, and not tottaly true, I will, after though, become more lenient, and turn a blind eye on minor mistakes.

Don't expect me to accept two-liners, or things of the sort though.

Yeah the faceless cruel people is kinda harsh, and also this is my opinion of things, most of what I said may or may not be true, just this is what I think is happening in my opinion. No offence on the faceless cruel people thingy again, I was trying to go for a metaphor.

I also find that slightly offensive. I belive I have already justified why the apps are denied.

The amount of apps we get every day are scary, if we accept them all straight away then 60% of the server would be Kharajyr by the end of the month...

A vast amount of control is needed over these things.

And I have not yet seen an app where we have put something like "The app is terrible", Most of their apps are amazing and we simply tidy it up slightly and give them areas to improve on.

Yes, everything in the app section is up to date (Thanks to myself). All denied apps have to wait 24 hours untill they may post again and currently everybody who has been denied with attempts left have not yet edited their apps.
