Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Currently a going to school to become a IT Tech full time. Have alot of free time on my hands and a huge fan of role-playing. I've been role-playing since I was ten.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 4-5 Hours daily, sometimes more.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me role-playing is putting yourself in another persons shoes, from another time. Letting your imagination develop a story before your eyes.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Everything from Dark Age of Camelot, to Bauldurs Gate 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Icewind Dale, World Of Warcraft, Everquest 1 and 2, Warhammer Age of Reckoning. There is more, but that should give you a good idea.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: In role-playing terms Meta-Gaming to me means using information you may know, but your character does not, to further advance or change the outcome of a situation. AKA ruining the gameplay.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when you take complete control over the situation, and do not give the other person a chance to emote or respond. For example, if we were in a combat scenario, and I dodged and parried every attack, giving them no fighting chance.

What do you expect this server will be like?: A great role-playing environment which I feel minecraft lacks. I've been searching for a genuine server but haven't yet seen one besides this.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I haven't applied to other ones due to my lack of interest.

How did you hear about us?: I saw this pop up in discussion on planetminecraft, also a quick google search led me here.

Character Name: Aortic'Griin

What Race are you?: Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Shaman

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Aortic was born into a large litter of 13 cubs, in Krugmar. Only knowing his father as "Griin", he was given his name. Aortic and his 12 brothers and sisters were kept closing in their growing days. They always seemed to find trouble, or trouble seemed to find them. Some occasions their lives would be at stake, but their bonds to one another kept them strong and safe for the most part.

Aortic began training at the age of 5, by his uncle Gaurk. Gaurk was only a journeymen Shaman, but a wise orc none the less. At such a early age, they were taught only the history, and the basics of each element and their power. At the age Gaurk saw fit, he passed them on to the Elder Shamans. The Elders taught the young inspiring Shaman to summon his very first spirit. Though this scared him at first, he learned to accept and embrace his gift. Training became Aortic's life, and he fully accepted it. Taking pride in his power, he wanted to make his race proud of him. During his trials, his brothers and sisters fought along side. Monsters and creatures alike stood no chance against them and their hard work. Hand in hand they grew older, from cubs, into their adult lives together.

Aortic no longer a cub, but a full fledged orc continued to seek wisdom and higher training. He wanted to prove himself to not only his family, but to his race and make them proud of him.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a great High Shaman.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):His Staff and Totems.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Shamanism.

Other Information about your Character: He is 6 foot 8, some would consider short for an orc. During his trials he lost his right eye, and collected some scars, but nothing that would not heal over time. He wears the a garnet fastened together of bones of his enemies he had downed. He always sports a hunger that seems to never to disappear.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Seeing the halfing, Aortic's stomach rumbled. Sprinting over to the halfing he throws him under his arm and begins to walk away. The two warriors in shock of what just happened chase after Aortic. One of the warriors with a bow and arrow fires a shot at Aortic's back. He badly sharped arrow bounces off his thick hide. Aortic turns looking concerned about the itch he had costed. Reaching his arm around trying to scratch the itch, he notices he cannot reach. Aortic in a rage yells "UG! WUT WUZ DAT FO'?!". The warrior pulls another arrow and takes a shot, this one hits the halfing killing him. Mad his meal was not going to be as fresh as previously believed, Aortic take his staff off his back. Chasing the warriors around in a circle screaming "YO FUD NOW!". Grabbing one warrior and flinging him over his shoulder, the other escaped. As the warrior on his shoulder struggled, he tried to bite Aortic. Becoming frustrated, he bonked him on his head with his staff, dragging his unconscious body.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

With a cold stare, Aortic looks into the eyes of the man and says "Fud." The man looks bewildered and says "Sorry, come again?". Aortic repeated "Fud, mi hunry". The well dressed man looks at Aortic still unsure, "Fud? What is fud..?". Frustrated, Aortic walks away in a rage mumbling "Ug, stopid litte man".

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Aortic walks inside the hut. In the hut he sees a small locked chest. Not noticing the chest is locked, he opens it as if the lock was made of butter. Seeing the iron ingots and golden sword Aortic got excited. "Oh, shiny!" Aortic exclaimed. Taking the golden sword and bending it around his wrist as a bracelet, Aortic mistaken it for a golden bracelet. With a smile saying "Orc luv guld jewelery" he made his way out of the hut, leaving the iron ingots.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Aortic walks into the camp, demanding food. "Mi need fud!" he yelled. No one understood him correctly, and those who did were to scared. One man, brave enough to walk up to him, gave him a piece of cooked pork. With a grin on his face Aortic said "Dankkee yu!" and continued to walk in the direction he had set for.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Aortic sees the guards gathered asking for assistance. He continues to walk by until he sees one of them is having a piece of beef cooked to perfection. Aortic gained interest instantly. "Mi help fo' fud!" he yelled in the guards direction. The guards looked confused "You only want food? Are you sure?". Aortic replied "Yu!". The guards agreeing tell him to wait by the gate while they continue to recruit. Aortic having no patience, walks out of the gate, and spots the camp. Returning covered in blood and with the head of the leader, says "Fud pleez!". The guards shocked, with their jaws dropped, hand over a bag of assorted cooked meat. Aortic throws the sack over his shoulder and stomps his way out of the town with a big grin on his face.
