The Great Migration

Seventis has achieved nationhood. It has outgrown the gracious hospitality of the Temple Lands. King Renati recently held council with the noble Monk Talmb and he pointed the Seventis people East ward, to the contested lands. Renati agreed and his people shouted in approval that they could finally grow as a nation recognized by the rest of the known world. The plan was that the current settlements of Ascella, Fairfield, and Fort Helios were all to be torn down and moved. The Seventis people began packing wagons and saddling work horses to cross the rough terrain. A new capital is to be built, Sarun. It will stand as the gem of Seventis. The new Nation will be divided into Provinces that are each ruled by a Duke and/or Duchess. The deserts will also return to its normal state of fields with the soon-to-be petitioned help of the awe-inspiring Druids and their powers of natural aspects.

DECLARATION TO EXISTING SETTLEMENTS

As a settlement in the future you are inclined to two possible outcomes. Seventis plants its flag into the contested lands to the East. The following settlements are subject to change with this new change of power.

-Rienna

-Nornheim

-Miscellaneous Manors

These states have the option of placing themselves under the Seventis banner. They will not be taxed or penalized, and will be welcomed with open arms. They will be protected under our influence and aided in terms of growth. Those states or settlements that resist forcefully our do not agree will be dealt with. Those that do not reply within an elven week will be marked inactive and claimed ( Put under our jurisdiction ). Any attempts of rebellion against the change in ruler ship will be ended with due haste.

For the towns of Ascella and Fairfield, please also report to the Lord of your respective town, Lady Ariana or Lord Ursolon about your homes. Refunds for homes will not be given. However, you will be compensated with a home in the new nation. After a certain period of time, they will not be responsible for any items lost in the change. To claim a house in the new area, please write a letter. ((Forum pm using the proper format found below.)). Fairfield will be ‘recreated’ in the new lands. Sarun will be created as the new capital of Seventis. Citizens of Ascella will be compensated with a home with Sarun, while the citizens of Fairfield will be compensated with a home in ‘New’ Fairfield.

Furthermore, the town of Aliquam is now independent of Seventis, if the lord of the town so desires.

Good for you. I shall go there and kindly ask the king to step down and if he refuses I simply will make up a bullshit rebellion, because ... well, that's how we roll in Asulon.

((Oh, btw. thanks for voting down the sarcasm of an old man, afraid to lose his home. It shows how much this rebellion really cares to aid the citizens of Salvus.))

Someone is upset that their home is going to be burned down....

Kal, no need to flame oocly. But I ask if Aquila is independant again, the citizens signing seventis will have to be retracted.

((None of our signatures come from the Aliquam charter. By the way, this IS an RP post.....brackets would be great.))

((This is an IC thread, as far as I'm aware. My reaction is that of my character.

Edit:

It's been a long day. Still don't appreciate flaming on Dawn, but apart from that. Burn all the Ordinators! ))

This nation will be the same as Salvus and that is what the community doesn't want... some examples of things that match with Salvus : Close to spawn... very close, accepting all races, dirt cheap houses so everyone can buy one, probaly going to be the new main place where ALL roleplay will be at, lots of shitty military that is probaly gonna be worse then the damn peacekeepers. /end arguments))

Please just move away from cloud temple now you have the opportunity to move and maybe get as far from spawn as alras maybe more...))

((/begin counter-argument. We arn't Salvus. We don't accept everyone. We arn't the "oh peace and joy" that Salvus is. We already have allies and enemys. Also, our homes wont be 'dirt cheap' as they will actually be quite expensive. Pertaining our military, we already have quite a strong one built up that has already stopped multiple bandit raids, beheaded Mandarin publicly, and is soon to march Salvus. And if our old citys WERE at spawn, and we're moving farther AWAY....how does this suck up more rp then we did before? Please look into this matter more. We arn't Salvus and we actually intend on razing them. We are growing our own unique culture and faction relations. /end counter-argument.))

((LOOK INTO THE MATTER. We are moving AWAY from the Cloud Temple. That's the point of this post! We used to be right near it, but now were moving further back.))

This isn't Salvus. We are completely different. The only thing you can relate us to Salvus with is distance to Temple. Which we actually just migrated AWAY from the temple. We are forging our own unique culture and relations to specifically prevent another Salvus.

((Sorry for the triple post, i'm not quite sure how to multi-quote yet.))

The problem with Seventis is that its so close to spawn compared with other nations that it gives Seventis an unfair advantage.))

How about you become a rigid militaristic society and only admit certain people into the city? It worked well enough for Hanseti.))
