From The Ashes Of Fire And Flame...

Recommended Posts

From de ashes o' fire an' flame,

The Frosty Dwarf ascends, his face free o' shame,

His clothes be long ridden, his skin be fros'bidden,

The Frosty Dwarf ascends,

Beard long an' strainy, arms red an' veiny,

Eyes strained from the horror,

He climbed and he journeyed, he laughed and he worried,

For he feared he would not return,

Now he comes from the ashes, o' fire an' flame,

Now the mask be wit' him, At near cost o' life and limb,

For the god of the dead, be proud to 'ave his mask on his head,

Chuckling and whining, battling and mining,

Liam returns once again!

[[First try at a legit poem for me, I'm not asking you to be nice but ye know... :P kinda wanted to do something Dwarvish]]

*SIDE NOTE* [[i will be adding onto the Dwarven lore soon in terms of lore of Dungrimm, I just need to make sure all my writings match up with the actual Dwarven lore. I will be essentially writing a journal of Liam's travels on his way to find Dungrimm's mask. Then I will add some OOC info that will show you that this isn't really powergaming, but you Dwarves cannot know what I say in the post OOCly. I'll see if I can get an IG item approved to, I can't see why they wouldn't allow it.]]

Hildr smirks to herself, noting his faith to Dungrimm

"Aye, finally a guud fighter whu fights in de' name o' de true gods! Divines be witye' lad, it's guud to see guud-kin like ye' return tu yer homelands. Pray be, I nay know much about dis Liam o' who ye' be are but ye seems o' fine-blood."

(( I don't think there is one specific Dwarven Mask of Dungrimm btw...

Priests and Smiths of the Good Faith can make a mask for you to wear into combat, but to wear the original out of the blue seems a bit off. It probably would not be in Asulon anywho, and even if it were it would be much more interesting to see an RP event revolve around. ))

[[ The mask of Dungrimm is the one he wears himself, But it is possible to find a mask which was made by the ancient dwarves and recieved dungrimm's blessing.

This tought does not mean you can come out of the blue and claim to have one without sufficient rp reason, lore and approval - Just a little heads up so everybody dosn't go ahead and claim to have magical relics]]

((not sure if you guys knew this but I actually RP left to find the mask of Dungrimm, it isn't claimed out of the blue at all and as soon as I have some time to write some nice journal logs it will explain everything. Basically it's a mask infused with runes of the ancients that was used to make people believe in Dungrimm. Also this one should be only used by priests, as they were the ones to use this special mask.))

(( I could understand a mask of Uruguan since he walked on Asulon/Aegis/The World, but Dungrimm and the other gods are like the traditional Abrahamic God in that they don't walk the earth.

So to steal or take Dungrimm's personal mask firstmost doesn't seem feasible, and then its just downright disrespectful to take the God's mask.

You can RP that maybe you've located on that old dwarves made as Luchian said, but we would need to consider it to make it fit lore, and you would need approval from a bunch of people. Considering I'm doing religion right now for the dwarves you'd need to clear it up with me along with other people too.

It'd make more RP sense if he just had a master smith or rune smith craft him a Dungrimm mask and he had to go on a voyage because Arbrek had died so their was barely anyone who could craft him a proper mask ))

((This isn't Dungrimm's actual mask XD, I'm sorry for being unclear or cryptic but I don't want to ruin anything before I actually write the lore portion. Worry not I have it all thought out and I will explain it further. Basically zealots gave it a glowing somewhat deathly aura for priests to use in ceremonies and have other less knowledable dwarves convinced of Dungrimm's power.))
